There was some discussion in the casualties thread. Started this thread to discuss who takes Cushings place.

The Texans cut Tim Dobbins today. They also cut some young LB's due to violation of team rules in KC last weekend.

I guess it's looking like Sharpton, Tuggle or signing a free agent.

Well according to the snaps thread, Mays got more plays than Sharpton. I would watch practice reports and see how Kubiak and Phillips respond on when asked who replaces Cushing. Have seen Tuggle being moved SLB, behind Brooks Reed. Releasing Montgomery, coaches must feel that Tuggle is serviceable.

mays got more snaps because he was already had a role in the defense, while sharpton was just subbing in for cushing, who had played half the game,already

I guess some kind of question remains as to who the single 'backer is when they roll out dime, or whatever
