The reason I like this subject is that level of ridicule the Texans received for making what I believed was the correct choice for their team. People were foaming at the mouth over how stupid the Texans were for passing on BOTH Young and Bush.

I've been happy with it since it happened. I'm glad the rest of the league is finally facign reality though.

I think the Texans made the right call for them, but the truth is that both Young and Bush have helped their teams reach the playoffs. Bush was in a conference title game. I know it takes more than one player, but Young was in the biggest responsibility position on the team. Bush was pretty important as well.

If the Texans never do better than 8-8, does it really matter if that one pick "looks" better while they sit home every year? How happy can a fan be when they watch other teams (even the ones with the guys they passed on) make the post-season?

Correctnever before has one organization been chastised so much over 1 pick. I remember hearing about how it was the worm GM decision of all timebout dem apples
