Has anyone else noticed that Yahoo! has taken away the defensive touchdown Houston scored yesterday? Is that a legitimate stat correction or a mistake on their part?
I thought they didn't finalize stats until after the Monday night games? That TD shows on Yahoo!'s own box score for the HOU-NYJ game.
That said, I can see the out that Yahoo! might use -- technically, the TD was scored by a Houston player recovering another Houston player's fumble. I am curious to see if every other league scores it as a defensive TD (I would expect they would treat it as a def TD).
Yahoo often takes a day or two to correctly score defensive TDs when they aren't straightforward (in this case, the issue is the change of ball possession among defenders). I imagine it will get worked out shortly and you'll get your points.
