How are Forced Incompletions Recorded? (1 Viewer)

Wow nice. It's gotta count as a PD right? Just guessing.

While we're on the topic, I can never understand why so many IDP leagues only credit 1 point for a PD (or for that matter 2 points for a safety when it should count at least a turnover.. another thread) Seems like more of a game changing play than an open field tackle when you consider the impact on a game.

Clearly, Bostic's play was more disruptive and better for the Bears than a completed solo tackle. This is why I count solo tackles as 1 point and PD's as 2 points. PD's always result in a "positive" for the defense, whereas solo tackles may or may not be the result of a great play on the ball, and only sometimes a "positive".

Checking the box score, Bostic was credited with 1 solo, 1 assist, and 1 PD on the game. I'm assuming the PD was on this play.
