Apr 19 Ken Mandel, of Phillies.MLB.com, reports Philadelphia Phillies 1B Ryan Howard (leg) injured his left leg as he stretched on his final step in an attempt to beat out a double-play Wednesday, April 18, against the Washington Nationals. Howard had his leg wrapped around his left knee after the game, and he appeared to be in a great deal of pain. He is likely to have an MRI before the Phillies' Thursday, April 19, game against the Nationals.
