How big a hit does Chase at WR due to Burrow injury? (1 Viewer)

I'm in the same boat as you. Here have been my thoughts:
  • Chase is not gonna be as great as he was with Burrow.
  • Browning didn't look awful, but it was a small sample size.
  • Chase has all the talent in the world, so he can still put up numbers.
  • He is the type of WR that can make a QB better.
  • Whoever is throwing to him matters; see Garrett Wilson.
  • Yeah, so think higher upside Garrett Wilson.

Thanks, all good points.

I have have been stuck on points #4 and #5, with a devil on one shoulder (egads, Browning???) and an angel on the other (Chase can make him better).

Keep in mind that BAL has the #1 defense and basically double-covered Chase all night, hence his 1 reception when Burrow played.

I see him as a high end WR2 now or in other words he’s a little matchup dependent. I’d have to look at their schedule but think browns, jets, ravens, etc will make him a WR2/WR3, but he’ll still have some WR1 games on the schedule. Just significantly fewer.
