How can I do this? (1 Viewer)

I am looking for a way to look at a prior year's final stats and rankings using my leagues scoring system so I can better plan for this year's projections.

Is there a place or a method to look at prior history and get rankings based on your own inputted scoring system?

I.E. Lets say my league awards 3.5 points per passing TD, and I want to find out all the rankings/FPs of the QBs in 2003 based on my scoring system. Instead of having to manually alter the stats from a site like FBG, which uses 4pts per TD, is there something or somewhere I can do this fairly easily?

This is a prety simplified example, but the jist of what I am getting at.

I've suggested this many times...in the offseason it is free to set up a league at MFL...set one up, with your scoring system and you can see the last 3 years of players rankings...

Maybe I'm missing something but doesn't your league host site do this for you?

One good thing about CBS is it has all the past years leaders based on the scoring system.

I assumed all sites did this ?

I think if you can do all this at http://www.fftoday.com/stats/index.htm ... they have all the players data for the last 5 years or so, IDP, targets etc ... I've never modified the scoring system, just use the site as a quick reference ... but I believe it's all customizable

Maybe I'm wrong, but couldn't you use one of the VBD apps out there to do this? Just set it up with your scoring system and then just use a certain year's stats as your input.

RTSports does this as well based on your league's scoring system.I also have a spreadsheet that I update anually to calculate all the points from the previous season (fantasy season as well as full NFL season stats).
