How do I find the owner of the house next door? (1 Viewer)

House next door is currently a rental. I’m interested in buying it. If one of you can tell me how to look it up, great. If you need the address send me a PM.

Please and thanks.

No answer or they won’t tell you?
They’re friendly enough and say they will get back to me but never do. I think they’re worried about me asking the owner to force them to move all the crap laying against my fence. I have requested that they move the items and even offered to help but nothing ever materializes.

I’ve got no problem doing it myself and I will this winter as I already have plans to cut down some trees and shrubs along that fence.

Im just want to try to reach the owner to see if they’re k retested in selling or request that they please consider selling to me directly rather than put it on the market down the line.

Some counties have copies of deeds and mortgages online.  Google search the county recorder site and look.  You might also be able to pull up a copy of the real estate tax bill which may have the owners name and mailing address.

go to the county web site.  google search your county>property taxes and follow the rabbit hole.

you can PM me the address.  i mean, i know how to use google.
yep, most counties have Assessor site and you can look up owner, taxes, etc.

If you Google the address, it may give you the homeowner's name. You may even get a direct hit on the county's building permit site, which will give you the name of whoever applied for the original permit (depending on the age of the house).

Does your county have an auditor website usually you can do property searches and it brings up the owner.

or you can call the County Treasurer(it's where/who people pay property taxes to.   Give them the lot description(lot 36 smith subdivision, etc).  they will give you the name of the owner & his address.

you can PM me too if you have problems.

Buying the house is one way to get the crap off your fence.   Thats a true footballguy for you.

In Florida each county has a property appraiser page. You can look up owners based on address or addresses based on owner. You can find out who owns it, their mailing address, how much they paid for it, when they bought it, etc.
