Yea the rays won today in a walkoff and during the celebration I definitely thought I hope none of them have it.

Matt Davidson tested positive yesterday, and then Moustakas and Senzel both woke up sick this morning.  Ugh.

Yes, playing baseball at the major league level is very difficult.  It's a major test of skill.  Very difficult.

@CraigMish: Based on the potential numbers I am hearing it could be difficult for the club to play tonight. We would be looking at the majority of their camp in Jupiter having to drive South to Miami and take the field. Ongoing discussions about this. Nothing confirmed yet.

@CraigMish: Before this hits the fan today, I’d like to share that inside that clubhouse, and in that organization, to a man (and woman) they all felt safe. I have polled. Someone would leak to me if they weren’t following the strict protocols, and I would say it here.

 
@JeffPassan: Eight more players and two coaches with the Miami Marlins have tested positive for COVID-19, as an outbreak has spread throughout their clubhouse and brought the total of cases in recent days to at least 14, sources familiar with the situation tell me and @JesseRogersESPN.

I was under impression MLB had access to the PCD testing where they could batch test huge groups in 15 min.  It's not fda approved so maybe it didn't work?

 
That Rays game yesterday put me in the best mood I've been in 4 months!

Choi bats righty and connects, first game taking at bats from that side.

Wendle keeps things alive with 2 outs with a double down the first baseline in the 9th.

Lowe dives on first to beat a throw from shallow right by the second baseman.

Kiermaier hits the walkoff triple in the 10th after falling behind again. In the top half of the 10th the Jays free second base runner steals third after an overturned call.

And suddenly the Rays are tied for first with the Orioles and Yanks!

 
They’re gonna have to do a bubble if they want to complete this somehow. Based off mls/nba/WNBA it clearly works.

They’re all free to play. Baseball clearly doesn’t give one damn considering they let the marlins play yesterday. But the Phillies should be quarantined till results come in.

@MattGelb: Sources: The Phillies are quarantining their entire visiting clubhouse staff after exposure to the Marlins this weekend. Some were tested yesterday and waiting for results. Yankees brought their own clubhouse staff to Philly last night.

 
I believe football has said they’re going to have fans but just require a mask.

Just saw on MLB, Manfred says the 3 games constitute the season and they are moving right to the playoffs.  Every team makes the playoffs and each game is 1 inning.  You start each AB with a 3-2 count and a runner on 3rd with 1 out.  You are allowed 2 catchers.  Each pitcher must pitch to 4 batters and each batter must represent a different country or culture.  The bases must be covered in masks and the grass will be sanitized with a crop duster filled with bleach after each inning.  Of course God Bless America will be played in its entirety after each AB and half inning.

It’s all worth it in the end though to be able to hoist that hunk of metal

PGA got their half bubble stuff working well now after a few early speedbumps.  But there isn't really an option for a half bubble given they play more than once every other week (for the half option).
