How long until the qb is wearing a red shirt in games? (1 Viewer)

Aren't you for the protection and betterment of NFL players not just today but long term? ;)

It has taken away from the overall enjoyment of the game and now every time and I mean every time there is a big hit from the defense I expect yellow laundry to fly. Many people around here seem to like it or can't remember what real football used to look like.

Helmet to Helmet should be outlawed, I'm 100% behind that. However when the yellow flags are thrown be it a QB, WR, RB, there needs to be some one int he booth who can signal down if the flag was erroneous so the fans can get back to cheering big hits. There needs to be an eye in the sky or this is only going to get worse.

Completely agree with this...

Helmet to helmet was a move that need to be made, but now it has gotten out of hand....and the rules are also inconsistantly called.

They should magnetize all helmets, but with the same polarity. Go helmet-to-helmet on a dude and a repulsive force keeps the collision from being to intense.

Quarterbacks (players) need to start being responsible for their own safety.

Right now as it stands a defense player trying to make a hit/tackle/play on another player is responsible for the outcome. And the guy being hit has no direct responsibility for his own welfare.Such as a quarterback when he stands in and takes a hit to deliver the ball, he needs to now be responsible for choosing to make a player over his own welfare (same as the defensive players are now saddled with). If he does not protect himself (and thusly makes himself defenseless) he should be fined.

As crazy as that sounds, its less crazy then the current fining of the defenders for guys who try to make plays. Responsibility should go both ways.

nfl has been dead for years folks. accept it. time to join my highschool fantasy draft
