How Many Brady and/or Moss Champions? (1 Viewer)

Was just looking at the championship rosters and the MVP thread and didn't see an overabundance of Bradys and Mosses on the lists. Did last week's dud knock too many of them out of the playoffs? I know this was somewhat covered last week and could belong in the champ bragging thread, but I am really curious how many Pats were on the championship teams, or even in the game.

My league, the only Pat represented was Welker, with a whopping 3 or so points.

For a team that is about to break the single season points record I expected to see and feel more Pats in the finals.

And no this isn't a fishing trip, a bragging trip, a Pat bashing trip or a troll or anything other than a curiosity factor because I don't see as many Bradys and Mosses as I expected.

I won my league with Randy Moss and Stephen Gostkowski. They were okay in week 15 (15 combined points) and were good in week 16 (21 combined points).

In my league, the Brady/Moss/Welker owner survived the Week 15 nor'easter despite his lowest output of the season because he was H2H the only team in the league that scored less that week (Championship or Consolation brackets).

Week 16 his overall output was 2 points above his season average. But thanks to 2 interceptions and a lost fumble in the second half Sunday, Brady had -4 points after sundown.

Meanwhile, Kurt Warner had a season high 26 points - 11 more than the Patriots QB, and highest QB output in the league - which included 7 after halftime.

I won by 3.

(Disclaimer: post is regarding analysis of championship squads from PPR leagues my friends and I played in, post is a little long so please skip if not interested)

Between some friends and I we played in 17 rtsports.com leagues this year. I thought it might be interesting so I tabulated the

rosters in all 17 leagues and picked out the most "popular players"

All league have same rules: (PPR)

Passing: 0.05 pts / yard. 4 pt TD

Rushing: 1 pt / yard, 6 pt TD

Receiving: 1 pt / yard, 6 pt TD (1 point per catch)

Kicking: standard rules. Any FGs over 30 yards is additional 0.1 pt / yard. (31 yd fg = 3.1 pts, 56 yd fg = 5.6 pts, etc)

Defense: 1 pt per sack, 2 pt per int/fumble, 6 pt for DST/ST TDs. 5 pt for shutouts. (and 1 or 2 for holding opponents to less than 10 pts)

Since my friends and I use FBG to draft, it might throw off the sample a little bit. So I'll put how many appearances by the players were on our teams in parenthesis.

hehe, In my main league we start 8 and I had 4 Pats: Maroney, Moss, Welker, and the Pats D. I changed out MJD for Maroney at the last minute. (I also started Kitna, DClark, LT, and Bironas). Kitna stunk, but the NE D was the steady force all year... and Dallas had a huge game. LT just needed an average game and I got it. I also won three cash individual awards with best wr:Moss, best rb: LT (should hold off Westbrook), and the Pats D. I'm having a New England dream year like the rest of the NE teams, hate me if you wish!

In the league I won, the only NE player I had was the team defense. My opponent had no Pats. Brady and Moss owners lost in the semis.

The Moss owner won one of my other leagues, though he also had LT. His opponent had the Pats D. I had Brady and didn't make the playoffs due to bad luck and weak supporting cast.
