Too many is the correct answer. I voted 6-8 but that is probably on the light side. I'm not a phone guy but have to stay connected with work 7 days/week using the phone. I do not spend any spare time on my phone. I hate phones. I am on my laptop for work all day and spend time on my iPad almost every evening as entertainment.

How many hours am I awake = number of hours on average i'm looking at some type of screen.
It is one of the main reasons I love my week in Canada in the summer which is off the grid.. no TV, phones, computers.. just nature,fishing, some
and cigars.. Only 3 more months before our trip!

I should have read the OP before voting. I didn't think about TV - I was going to vote 10+ but since I do have a few meetings each day on average I voted 8-10. Counting TV I'm probably back to 10+.

I have to be honest. I lied.
I put 6-8 hrs. Combined with tv, its closer to 14+ hrs daily. I haven't gotten to exercising like I should, but at this point I'm not bored and having a great time not having to do anything.*
*Pick up daughter after school, grocery shop and cook dinner about 3-4 nights a week.
