How many RBs total 100+ yds and a TD this week? (1 Viewer)

Five.

edit: Now that I notice you say 100 yards combined and not just rushing I'll raise the number to eight.

The point is this...a lot of people are posting about 24 different RBs and how they all can score this week...the reality is that very few will have solid to great games this weekend. I don't have all the answers but I know 24 RBs are not racking up 100 yds and a TD this weekend.

100 total yards AND a TD by a RB

Opening weekend 2007 - 6

(Does not inclue Chris Brown, 175 yards, and Travis Henry, 183 yards)

First week 2008 - 10

Week One 2009 - 9

No DeAngelo or Portis or S. Jackson or Jacobs? DeAngelo was 2nd last year in 100 yd games with 8 and Portis was 4th with 6.

So between the 2 of them they had 14 100yd games and 18 that they didn't. It's all about the matchups, Portis didn't make 100yds in either game against the Giants last season.

Titans vs Steelers None here. CJ3 gets 80 total & LandWhale gets 40.

Sun Sep 13 10:00:00 a.m. PT 2009

Jaguars vs Colts Jones-Drew, if he plays.

Broncos vs Bengals Benson if his line wasn't so bad. I'll say none in this game.

Vikings vs Browns Peterson and Chester could both go for 100+. I'll say AD is the most likely and count just 1.

Cowboys vs Buccaneers Nope. Both clubs will split it too many ways. Felix comes close but not quite.

Dolphins vs Falcons Maybe Ronnie thanks to receptions. Turner gets 80 or so.

Eagles vs Panthers How much will Westy play. If he gets >80% of RB touches I'll say him & DWill.

Lions vs Saints K.Smith is close including recieving yards ~ 90. N.O. gets a big lead, and Calvin is the big winner.

Chiefs vs Ravens Rice is a huge play in PPR. He goes 120+ and a TD.

Jets vs Texans Jets D is gonna step up BIG. Slaton gets 90 yards.

Sun Sep 13 1:15:00 p.m. PT 2009

Rams vs Seahawks S.Jackson is a good bet. Like the Raiders, even if you can't win and can't pass, but can still run...

Redskins vs Giants I don't like either back here. 'Skins front 7 is going to be brutal. Lots of FGs.

49ers vs Cardinals Not feeling real hot on either here. Gore is a good bet for 100+, but IDK about the TD.

Sun Sep 13 5:20:00 p.m. PT 2009

Bears vs Packers I like both Grant & Forte. I have a feeling the pack will be much more effective passing, so I'm not sure Grant gets in the endzone.

Mon Sep 14 4:00:00 p.m. PT 2009

Bills vs Patriots No. Pats are gonna pass, then share. Bills will just get sacked a lot.

Mon Sep 14 7:15:00 p.m. PT 2009

Chargers vs Raiders LT is a lock. I'd bet on him to have 200 & 2 or 3.

So 8. 9 if Westy is a healthy start.

100 yards or a TD by themselves are not all that special, but to get both is not as common as most seem to think.

:goodposting: :goodposting: I'd say yes to Grant. I think GB may actually be able to build a lead and lean on 20+ carries for Grant.

I'd also add M.Bell if P.Thomas is out. Like you said, NO will build a big lead early and Bell will create quite a buzz if Pierre is out (it's looking likely too).

I'd say 12. It'll be more than you think. with so many QRBBC (ie barber/jones, johnson/charles,) It is likely that 2-3 of these tandems (maybe even bush/bell) will be from the same teams.
