How often did DRC get torched last night? (1 Viewer)

Jesus.

Guess they'll keep throwing at him boosting his IDP value on those rare occasions he breaks up passes or tackles someone.

Who's DRC?
Joking?Dominique Rogers Cromartie Arizona. Every time Green Bay scored a TD it seemed he was the one in coverage.
Didn't watch the game, but it comes on NFL network again in about an hour. How was AZ playing their Safeties?Same players but new coordinator in AZ, and haven't seen them play yet.
A lot of cover 2 with them rotating to one one side of the field just before the snap. The biggest problem was Rodgers had a lot of time to throw by moving in the pocket and running to avoid pressure. He has quick feet and is athletic.

Replay just started on NFL Network, and holy schnike! That first pass defended on Donald Driver was awesome! Rodgers underthrew it a little, but DRC played it perfect and nearly had a great pick.

He just got burned on the Jordy Nelson deep ball, but the entire Arizona defense bit on the play fake from Rodgers, might want to work on that in practice their Coach Whisenhunt. On a side note, I'm really regretting trading Rodgers in my keeper league for draft picks. lol oh yeah I kept Greg Jennings, so that was great to see him get carted off the field.

It's preseason and he didn't get injured. That's a good game in my book.

To be fair to DRC he was the "victim" of two non-calls where offensive pass interference looked to occur. He also almost had an INT on an incredibly athletic play to break up a pass down the middle. Overall, he didn't look great last night but I'm guessing he'll win more of these battles throughout the season.

Week 17 the Packers return to Arizona. Who knows what may be on the line then?

Rodgers underthrows often so they can make the catch. He leads the receivers away from defenders too. That was one of his better plays. It gets worse.

Was at the game last night. Nelson absolutely toasted him and you could see that deep ball coming a mile away. Great play fake by Rodgers.

A very Jason David-like performance by DRC. Was roasted all night long. At least it's the preseason I suppose.

Interesting read since I didn't see this game.... I thought for sure that McFadden would be the sneaky CB play here. Own the guy who plays opposite the sut-down CB as he'll see lots of action.

Maybe I've got them backwards? :dunno:

Add another "burn" tonight!

Chad Jackson on a crossing pattern and Brandstater threw behind him, but Chad still rolled off a big gain on man coverage with DRC.
