These two look like they have some chemistry
What's the value of TO now - will he outpeform a guy like Andre Johnson ??

agreed...TO hasn't been able to get downfield for deep balls, and if he has Drew underthrew them and they were picked....Romo will buy more time and we'll see some more DEEP balls for TO, especially good for owners that are rewarded for long TD's.I love seeing TO in the goaline formation...another threat for DEF to worry about and still has a chance to score points inside the 3 yard line. The reason IMO Bledsoe was replaced was that he couldn't avoid the rush. TO's biggest value is his homerun hitting ability and with Bledsoe the line wasn't able to hold long enough to enable TO to get open and then have Bledsoe deliver the ball. Romo on the other hand has the ability to buy time with his legs and avoid the rush enabling TO to get open downfield. Romo will be a huge upgrade over Bledsoe because he will be able to use TO's best abilities and Bledsoe was not.

Irvin says that on the sideline before the Glenn redzone Int, Bledsoe and the coaches were discussing the play call. The coaches wanted to throw the fade to TO but Bledsoe said he wanted to throw the Quick Out (Oscar) to Glenn. TO was standing right there. The coaches then decide to overrule DB and go with the fade to TO but when the play is run, Drew improvises and goes ahead and throws the out to Glenn (the play he wanted to run).If this is true, no wonder Parcells was so POed and pulled him out of the game.
I personally think TO is the number ONE WR the rest of the way. The way Romo is gonna force it to him, barring injury or a meltdown, both of which are highly possible, I think Owens is going to be on FIRE the rest of the way. People think that he will destroy Romo, I think he's gonna MAKE Romo
with a QB that has never started a game in the NFLI personally think TO is the number ONE WR the rest of the way.
Actually, T.O. and McNabb were the most prolific duo in NFL history for the time they were together...it had nothing to do with not being able to play with him. In fact, the fact that Romo is a rookie makes the situation totally unlike the Philly example, where two guys with monster ego's couldn't play in the same sandbox.Your analogy fails on every level, actually.how long will it take TO to cuse Romo. If TO could not play with McNabb, one of the best QBs in the NFL, he will not be able to play with a QB that has never started a game in the NFL
I am a Cowboy fan and I hope Romo is the answer to their QB problem for the next 10 years.it doesnt matter what Romo's final numbers look like or if he wins or loses for FANTASY Football. And I think that in FANTASY numbers, TO will lead the pack the rest of the way. Call it a hunch, whatever. You can dispute my claims, thats fine, doesn't bother me. But I dont think Romo's career history has that much to do with him and his ability to get the ball to TO. He's still a professional QB and has been practicing in the same offense for 4 years now. If he's not ready to play now, he never will be.
he has cussed, talked about, yelled at every QB and head coach he has played with/for.all he cares about is his stats and TO. He could care less about winning. As a Cowboy fan I wish he was not a CowboyActually, T.O. and McNabb were the most prolific duo in NFL history for the time they were together...it had nothing to do with not being able to play with him. I read somewhere (SI?) that TO flourishes with QB's that can scramble - guys like Garcia and McNabb who were out of the pocket as much as they were in it. It gives him time to use his athletic ability to get separation and work his way open. I the best FF scenario going forward, Romo puts the Cowboys in the hole early and then he has to work the ball to TO trying to play catch-up.JoelThe reason IMO Bledsoe was replaced was that he couldn't avoid the rush. All of that is fine and good and has been well established. I don't care how warm and fuzzy he is, I think in terms of fantasy. Any owners with an opportunity to "buy low" on TO I'd do so. I know I am.he has cussed, talked about, yelled at every QB and head coach he has played with/for.all he cares about is his stats and TO. He's the only playmaker on your sorry team.he has cussed, talked about, yelled at every QB and head coach he has played with/for.all he cares about is his stats and TO. Dallas should of addressed other important issues back in the off season, like the O lineHe's the only playmaker on your sorry team.he has cussed, talked about, yelled at every QB and head coach he has played with/for.all he cares about is his stats and TO. Up until Bledsoe, aren't those the only types of QB's that Owens ever played with? Young, Garcia and McNabb?I read somewhere (SI?) that TO flourishes with QB's that can scramble - guys like Garcia and McNabb who were out of the pocket as much as they were in it. Yes, and with them he was a Pro Bowl receiver. With Bledsoe, he's not. I don't know about that... Theres still Holt and Smith, But I do believe #3 is a good betI personally think TO is the number ONE WR the rest of the way.
