How to adjust for leagues with 1 RB, 1 WR and 2 RB/WR Flex (1 Viewer)

This is a question for leagues with 2 flex positions (RB/WR) and 1 RB and 1 WR starting slots.

My thinking is to get a combined list of RBs and WRs, and basically do a 4 * (number of teams in the league) list of total projection points for each player, and then do a VBD for the top 4*(league size)players by point, using the combine lists 4*(league size) player as a baseline. Making sure to get at least 1 WR and 1 RB out of this list - and get lots of value out of the top 4*(league size) list. Does this sound right?

Yes.I am in a league that is like this and that is exactly how I did it. Our scoring is actually receiving heavy, so I figured that out of all of the starters available (48), it went about 20-28 in favor of receivers. Basically saying that what are normally high end WR3 guys are now starting quality flex players. With this structure it makes much more sense to group your RB's & WR's together as one position...just be careful not to ignore either position entirely.
