How to improve my team (1 Viewer)

Lost rodgers and cook so far.  Shame, this team was looking very strong.  Now I have fallen to the middle of my 12 team redraft.  But I'm tied for first and need to move forward.

Start qb, 2 RBS, 3 wrs, te, k, def

Rivers, Rodgers

Gordon, Martin, Mack, cohen

M. Thomas, Fitz, Hogan, Cobb

Graham, fleener

Bryant

Ne def, Pitt def

Rivers is ok.  But he is gonna get me 3 c or 30.  It's -3 for ints in my league. I have tried seeing if I could  trade fitz or Hogan for a better qb and a bench wr with no luck. There is an owner with Brees and cousins and I was trying for cousins.  Tyrod Taylor is on the ww and I'm gonna drop Rodgers for him.  Was gonna drop Cobb for Corey Davis as I think the gb offense is not worth owning any longer and I really need a decent bench wr.  wrs on the wire worth mentioning  Davis and j. Matthews, Ginn, decker, kupp, moncrief.  I was gonna drop fleener for j. Rodgers to backup Martin.

Any ideas on what else to do?

I wouldn't give up on Cobb. You're basing that on assumptions from a game where Hundley was thrust into the starting role in the middle of a tight game. He's always been a game manager going back to his UCLA days, but I think he's been in that system long enough to make Cobb serviceable. I like Davis' upside, but he's a complete wild card. Unless you can snag Wilson, Brees, etc from an owner, I'd play the waiver wire game and see how it goes. More often than not, teams get desperate and have to unload dead wood during the season. Just had an owner drop Stafford (his backup QB) because he needed a wideout due to the bye week. Would imagine something like that will happen in your league as the season goes on. You're in a good enough position to at least see how the next week or two goes before pulling the fire alarm.

Drop Rodgers and NE defense (Why anyone would carry them on their roster is beyond me).  Try and trade Cobb and Fleener for a different WR. (Cobb and the entire Green Bay offensive unit just took a big hit to all their numbers.) Pick up Goff AND Bridgewater if available. Goff covers your bye and is serviceable, Bridgewater has upside and is probably not rostered and it was just announced they activated him off of PUP.

Hundley will be solid and should still make the WR's startable in most cases.  I would actually pick up Hundley over the guys you mentioned for QB.  He has great WR's and has been brought through the system slowly.  He played against a great defense yesterday after getting very few reps throughout the week.  I think he ends up as a top 15 QB for the rest of the year and will be in the top 10 in good matchups.  That is who I would pick up off the waiver wire.

I agree with this.  This past week I had to let go of Alex Smith because byes hit, and then Parker was downgraded to doubtful, and then Diggs was ruled out, so I was scrambling for a flex.  Give it a ride for a week or two before totally panicking.  Definitely give the Cousins owner a call and see what he'd be willing to do, but I wouldn't go selling the farm just yet.  In the right matchups, Goff, Taylor, even Keenum have been startable this year.

Gotta say I like your optimism on Hundley.  I think at best his ceiling is Siemian, but I'll be curious to see how he responds after getting all the first team reps in practice and games for a couple weeks.

Gonna drop Rodgers for Taylor and fleener for j. Rodgers.

Will hold Cobb for now.

Prob try to dump ne def for best player on the board

They were a one week play so I didn't have to play Pitt @ kc

Dude(I figured you wouldn't mind the label),

Your team still pretty dang good.  could really use a little RB depth or help there.  although might find out a little more on Mack tonight.  also defense: just start the streaming each week.   this is not a team to panic over.

I know.  Just sucks.  Cook and then Rodgers. Wtf.

I agree I need another RB as well.

Should I trade for luck?

This guy has cooks, thielen, and Landry at wr.

He wants a wr upgrade out of my three.

Fitz, m. Thomas, hogan.  He told me he would give me a wr back with luck.

First off. Is this worth it?  Not even sure luck will be good.   Second who should I give up and who should I ask for?

Was able to drop Rodger s for Taylor.  Fleener for j. Rodgers, and ne def for decker

Got an interesting trade.

I can pick either Hyde or cj Anderson and any of his qbs.  Cousins or Brees

For

Melvin gordon

Thoughts?
