How would you drafting strategy change given the following set-ups? (1 Viewer)

1) 12 team: QB, RB, WR, 2WR/RB FLEX, TE, K, DST. 1 PPR for all players. QB TDs= 4

-I'm thinking this would lead to a pretty balanced draft. Yes, you can start 3RBs and only 1 WR (or 1RB/3WR, or 2/2) but the PPR makes WRs just as valuable as RBs.

2) 12 team: QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 WR/RB FLEX, TE, K, DST. NON-PPR. QB TDs= 6

-If I'm seeing this right, RBs would be a huge importance here. You can start 3 of them and it's NON-PPR. Starting out RB-RB-RB isn't a bad play here.

 IMO they both suck. Any line up that allows you to start 3 RBs put more value on the already overvalued position.

 plus the 1 PPR for all players pushes some RBs up way too much. .5 RB, 1 WR, 1.5 TE makes scoring more balanced. I'd want RB, 2 WR, TE, Flex WR/RB/TE with the .5/1/1.5 PPR

I'm a big fan of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 QB/RB/WR/TE Superflex, 1 K, 1 DST. QB TDs = 5. PPR 1 for RBs and WRs and 1.5 for TEs. Makes for a very interesting league and a fairly unpredictable draft with the option of starting 2 QBs, 3 RBs or 4 WRs!

Have to agree with those guys. I like 2 FLEX, but change it up, so your lineup could be 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX WR/RB, 1 FLEX WR/TE, 1 K, 1 D. Limiting to a receiver flex for one of your 2 flex positions keeps balance I have found.
