 ppr.  1qb 2rbs 2 wrs 1 te 1 flex.

my team of note is: Aaron Rodgers, stafford.....D. Cook, N. Harris, CE helaire, Madison, J. williams......McLaurin, C. Lamb, Marcus Robinson, Ju ju, ruggs, samuel........Logan Thomas-TE

I am being offered:  His= Lamar Jackson, Antonio Gibson, C. Ridley, O. Beckham, Tj Hockenson

                             For My= Stafford, Dalvin Cook

One important point is he is in my division and also has McCaffrey......I love ridley this year and think Jackson will have a better year......but does the trade benefit me enuf to let go of cook?

Is this a dynasty league?  What are the keeper implications (salary cap, keeper restrictions, etc)?

Initially I was all for an accept of this trade because it really benefits your depth however upon closer look it doesn't really help your starting lineup much if at all.  With the small starting lineup you are going from:

  • Rodgers, Cook, Naje, McLaurin, Lamb, CEH, Logan Thomas (current)
  • Rodgers/Jackson (flip a coin), Gibson, Naje, Ridley, McLaurin, Lamb, Hock (new)
So basically your RB's go down a bit, flex go up a bit, and TE goes up a bit.

I just don't think it helps your starting lineup enough to warrant doing it.  Now, if this is a dynasty then I may be a little more inclined because it gives you more pieces and younger.

Sorry guys, re-draft league
With the small starting lineup I just don't think it benefits you enough to do the deal.  If you didn't have Rodgers at QB and Lamar was a big upgrade then maybe but as it is Lamar is almost useless in this trade because you don't need him at all.   I think I pass on the deal........but I am also a Vikes fan so losing Cook would hurt.

With the lineup constraints it doesn't help you a ton except for improving depth at QB, WR & TE, but the depth aren't just benchwarmers.  All the players he is offering have a top 5 finish in their range of outcomes except for Beckham.  Who are the three players on your roster that you will you have to drop if you make the trade?  Also, the depth you gain are very marketable players and you could likely make a trade to help your starting roster, if needed.   Frankly, I think he is overpaying and you'll be better off long-term by having many more options than he will.  Especially factoring in injuries and COVID.  It's a LONG season...  So in my opinion you gain more options by making the trade.
