Hurricane Florence CAR/ATL impacts? (1 Viewer)

Florence is showing a more western track towards Georgia. Atlanta is domed, so probably not a big deal if Flo reaches Georgia, but should CAR and ATL owners make backup plans for week 2?

Simple answer, NO.  Atlanta has regular thunderstorms that would be more on an issue.

Do you mean if they cancel the game altogether?

The game is played in a dome - the worst that would happen is they would move the game to later in the day (if that works for the track of the storm) or Monday Night - unless Atlanta was just devastated and that doesn't see to be the projection.

If it trends south, there's a chance that the NE/Jacksonville game on Sunday at 4:25 is a soaker.

I'd guess the issue has less to do with the teams ability to play the game and more to do with people attempting to attend the game, particularly their safety in moving from A to B. Can't have a game if people get hurt trying to get there or trying to leave. Also places an added strain on community resources.
