The Playball Fantasy Football League, on MFL, is looking for 1 owner.
We are a hybrid dynasty/keeper salary cap league.(LEAGUESAFE)

I have an owner that contracted covid and did not get out of the hospital until late July. He informed
me yesterday(Aug. 20th) that his recovery is going far worse than he anticipated and doesn't think he
is up to everything necessary(draft prep, draft and keeping up with his roster and f/a needs) and needs to
opt out this year. I have told him his health is most important and how to get a refund of his league fee
through LEAGUESAFE and he is always welcome back to the league if/when we have an opening.
The league fee is $50, collected, and prizes paid out, through
Leaguesafe. All Fees, minus the MFL site fee, goes into the
prize pool. No additional charges for fa, etc. and no cut for the
commish(unless he wins, of course, 3rd place in last years play-offs
The MFL Site fee is already paid for the 2021 season and Leaguesafe
is already set-up. All current owners have already paid their league fee.
Rosters are 25 players, at any position, as long an owner has a valid
starting line-up at the end of the draft.
Starting line-up is: 1qb, 2 rb, 2wr, 1te, 1pk and 1 def/st.
Players salaries are set to with-in 5k of their scoring in our league last year. Players that lost major
time last year will have their salaries based on their average production from 2 or 3 previous full season years.
Rookies are included in our regular draft and are priced based on their off season hype. Team salary cap
is 1600k.
Players salaries range from 20k for players that don't make the draft day salary lists up to 300k for the most productive
players that make the top of their position list. No one will ever achieve an all top player roster due to cap limitations.
The first 3 rounds of each draft go back into the f/a pool for the next years draft. Any player drafted after round 3 may
be carried to the next season under the following conditions; players move up 3 rounds and at a 20% increase in salary
each year carried, so a player drafted in round 10 this year at 100k would take an owners 7th rd pick next year at a salary
of 120k.
The current team available, BOONE'S BOYS, owner only chose to carry wr John Brown who would take their 8th round pick
at 186k. Even though we have passed our cut down deadline, a new owner would have the option to keep or cut Brown.
12 teams playing head to head games, 3 divisions, 3 division winners and 3
wildcards make the play-offs. 14 week regular season so each team plays every
team in it's division twice and 1 non-division game against all the other
teams for 14 total head to head games.
Play-offs last 3 weeks(15-17) and we don't use week 18 of the NFL schedule.
1 point for each 20 rushing/receiving yards, 1 point for each 50 passing yards.
All td scoring is based on length of score, same for field goals.
Prizes;
Regular season champion-$50
High game score for regular season-$25
Play-off prizes;
1st place--60% of remaining prize pool
2nd place-25% of remaining prize pool
3rd place-10% of remaining prize pool
4th place---5% of remaining prize pool
Our big winner last year took the title and the regular season championship and won $311.03.
The available team is BOONE'S BOYS,( PICK 1-4) in the EAST DIVISION. All rosters
shown on the site show the draft round and salary for the 2021 season.
The new owner may keep/carry any, all or none currently on the teams
roster.
Draft date is Sunday, Sept. 6th, at 1PM Eastern Time, live(snake) draft on MFL site.
