I don't think this trade makes any sense at all for Jacksonville.If they want to get rid of Lefty, they can get a lot more than problem child Jerry Porter.
I don't think it makes sense as Leftwich isn't the most reliable QB in the whole wide world (and JAX has their share of WRs, granted none proven to Porter's talent level), but it sounds like the kind of stop-gap QB think OAK would do. Course why would JAX would a problem child butthole like Porter?

also, QB>WR in terms of value too. Teams recognize that Leftwich, although oft injured, is still a starting QB and that's more valuable than most WR's. I don't see the Oakland o-line protecting Leftwich well enough to keep him healthy for 16 games either. Leftwich to Minnesota, Detroit or Cleveland makes more sense somehow.
Jags have good young WRs, they don't need any WRs. They might need a better coach for the WRs or trainer re injuries or some such but they don't need another WR IMO
