Every year since 2001 I have been to a game in the eventual world series winner's ballpark. This year, I saw games at the Phillies, Red Sox, Yankees and Rockies' ballparks. I was in Chicago but just missed seeing the Cubs.

Watching the first pitch ceremony on Saturday night with Coolbaugh's 2 boys was enough to make this grown man misty. The Rockies have handled everything about this tragedy with class and dignity.
