I am starting x over Larry Fitzgerald this week... (1 Viewer)

Is anyone starting Fitz this week against CAR, who has been pretty good vs. the pass? Also, Larry had very little love in a huge blowout last week. ARI has more DEF TDs than passing TDs all season. Oh yeah, Skelton is averaging 4.4 yards/pass.

In my PPR leagues, this week, I think I am starting :

Stevie Johnson over Fitz

Kenny Britt and Welker over Fitz

Anyone else?

Non PPR I'm leaning Branch over Fitz as long as it appears Branch's knee is okay.

I may be forced to start him if Floyd is actually hurt and unable to play...I am already forced to start Mike Williams(TB). Stevie Johnson is next in line. After the last 2 weeks, I am not going there during the playoffs.

This is actually looking like a crazy week for me. Having scored the highest points in my league, I am now possibly benching three of my starters (and another starter due to injury). Here is what I currently have put in:

Bess over Fitzgerald

Garrard over Roethlisberger

Moreno over Peterson

As others have said, car has been solid vs the pass. The game is on the road. Fitz still is looking at roughly 10 targets a game. The only problem is a lot of times those are short routes and he catches under 50% of them.

Carolina can be run on. ARI can be run on. Not the best weather. Expect the running game on both sides of the ball with major clock eating.

This.I know the game got to blowout status early, but Skelton looked better as the day went on. He seemed to have a better arm and much better accuracy than Anderson or Hall, and Carolina doesn't have a Chanp Bailey type to shadow him. I'm thinking this could be one of his better games of the year, which may not be saying much, but still I'm expecting better than average numbers which should make him at least a WR 3/borderline 2. Still below where most people drafted him I know, but his struggles this year really haven't been his fault. The elite talent is still there, and the situation looks to be marginally improving.

PPR is relevant given that Fitz has a high floor in PPR leagues, but hasn't scored in weeks.The players mentioned are typical players meant to gather a relative barometer of Fitz's value.

Benched Fitz in both and may pay for it. started TO and he got me a zero. Started R brown and cost me about 7 points.
