I have no link. It came in on my YouTube. 

It's so far out of liberal bounds, it's incredible. Or, wait...it isn't. 

It's stunning. 

Mods can lock this. I can't believe this ad.  

eta* It's the one where he starts ripping on the coffee in Cincinnati and Kentucky and then shifts to fair trade arguments and stuff. It's...unbelievably condescending and disgusting.

If you saw this ad that popped on my YouTube, you'd vote Trump in ten seconds. 

This was so wildly condescending that I couldn't believe it. 

And his third world love, was just...

Yeah, SNL parodies him and Devito and U.S. rollout, but the one I saw -- probably the original -- was so tone-deaf I can't even imagine. 

Thanks for looking. I couldn't capture it while it was going. I'm not savvy enough yet.

I guess. I just found it offensive for some reason. SNL has parodized it, though not for the reasons I would. 

It's just so bizarre towards Cinci and Kentucky and the diner experience -- I figured you wouldn't #### on that.

There was an article in the Crimson about something from being from the dumb South. A girl from some area wrote it, and it summed up the attitude nicely. 

I dated a girl from Tennessee up at a nice liberal arts school in the NE. She was a bit unhappy with her treatment from Northerners, to put it mildly. 

Not so progressive.  

 
If people voted for a billionaire Ivy League grad Manhattan real estate heir and entertainment celebrity because George Clooney is a snob about coffee, I've been giving Trump voters too much credit.

If you go to the, uh, diners in Cincinnati or Kentucky, you get that watered down stuff. Not the stuff you get in Italy.

I know what you're going for.  I'm just not side i buy it.  

I did like the ad though.  How does that get made?  Maybe they knew how dooshy it would look and figured maybe it would go viral and get their name out there.

 
So if I drink this concoction, I can live like the bourgeoisie (if only for the time it takes me to drink such a wee amount), save the environment, AND help an impoverished South American feed his donkey for a day?

Watched the video. I don't understand how you got from watching Clooney talk about how good Nespresso coffee is to Clinton losing the Presidential Election?  Clooney is from Kentucky and if he says the coffee is watered down and Ohio coffee is as well that is his opinion.  

What am I missing?  Did I watch a different video?

It's true this seems trivial, but anybody who knows my Wesleyan or other friends knows -- coffee is serious political business. 

So Clooney has made it so.
