I may have stumbled onto a crime scene (1 Viewer)

I just got off the phone with my sister. When I left her place, Bill seemed more interested in seeing her Pullman blanket than buying a horse. She told him she didn’t have time to look for it, but when she found it, she’d let him know. Apparently he is a new client of hers (she runs a hair salon and does weaves and toupees) and this is the first she has heard of a missing daughter.

I’m really curious about just how much these freakin’ blankets are actually worth. If it’s a bunch of money, I have to wonder if this guy isn’t more interested in finding a blanket rather than a long lost daughter.

I got the guys name and the fact that he lives somewhere around Martinsburg, WV. Anybody know how I can check this guy out? Any WV state troopers out there?

Is it this guy?

:lmao: No. If it was, I wouldn't think twice about going into the woods for a blanket with him.
You sure?

What about this guy?

Looks like the blankets are collectible, but not particularly valuable.http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:byKPV...lient=firefox-a

Excellent narrative here.

Anyone else hear banjos?RUN AWAY!

I hardly ever post in the FFA but I just want to jump in here and say that I believe this is probably a true story.

I live barely 10 miles from Mont Alto, PA and I can verify that many details of this story are very plausible.

I know the state forrest area that flyingv is talking about. I've spent a fair amount of time there myself. The parts about horse trails, chestnut trees, rhododendron, and bears are all things that fit the story.

It does sound like "Bill" might have made up the story to get his hands on the blanket though. If someone went missing from Martinsburg WVA, there are many wooded mountainous areas that are much closer than Mont Alto for dumping a body.

Well, if he was just after the damn blanket for a profit, he used a ####ty premise for it if the story about his daughter missing isn't really true.

Really, that story alone is sad. What kind of scum bag would make up #### like that just to get his hands on a dirty old blanket that you can buy off eBay for $40.

Really? Some random guy comes up with this on the spot because he thought he might get an expensive collectible blanket that's been lying around in the dirt, rain and snow for years? I'd think he deserves at least a little credit here.

Ok, it did seem like I was jumping to conclusions. Sorry about that. I'm not saying he's lying, just that if he was, it was a bad story to use. The whole story seems real to me and I'd be interested to find out the results.

I can’t say that I’ve ever experienced anything like this before! He’s supposed to hook up with the psychic and they will meet with me again sometime next week so that I can lead them to the spot. God, I hope we don’t wind up finding a body!
If he's been trying to find his daughter for 6 years, how can he possibly wait for 'sometime next week'.If that were my daughter, I'd tear that place apart now and drag the psychic immediately. F next week.

I know what you mean. Maybe his psychic is coming from far away...I don't know. I should have asked a lot more questions on the phone, but I was pretty much speechless listening to his story.

I saw a show about a psychic like that yesterday on TV. It's not bull####, she's really seeing it.
:lmao:
Everything she described was there and they wouldn't have found the dead guy without her help.
O RLY? Please give details. Did the psychic say "The body will be found 120 yards to the west of the highway, 22 feet south of the oak tree."? Or did she say "the body will be near a road and trees and probably water"?
She described the landscape, (a lot of bricks (there was a pile of hundreds of bricks, she said a bridge, the guy had just crossed a bridge when his car fell off, etc...) she also said a few numbers...she said "45" and the fell off a cliff on road 45....she said 22, 21, and the guy's watch had stopped at 22:21. She also described the guy's car and the family confirmed it. I forget a few things but she really did :knowsstuff:
How many times claim to know stuff but really didn't?
I don't know but it was clear that she really saw all of these things...
:o Was it Monday, at 10:00pm, on NBC?

I've seen her on TV, too. That chick is a :confirmed: psychic.

Why do you need the psychic? You already know where it is.
I don't need the psychic. Bill wants to bring him/her along because he's looking for his daughter and figures if this is the blanket from the "vision", then maybe the pyschic will pick up on some other vibes from the area.I'm just along for the ride. I don't really expect much to come from it. But if this psychic starts wiggin' out on some sort of vision, you can bet I'll be

Gotcha. I'm hooked, fishing or not.

Why don't you tell us where this story is taking place?

A quick google search should confirm the "daughter gone missing" part of the story.

After visiting her home and the spot where the car was found, here’s some of what the psychic sensed:

“A small, cold pool of water. It’s very well concealed, but outdoors.”

“A beige and brown blanket… in a houndstooth pattern. Very old and dirty.”

“A man will help us by some strange twist of circumstance. He seems busy searching for something else. I can’t picture his face, but I keep seeing the name ‘Pullman’ or maybe ‘Putnam’.”
If this was Ed Glosser: Trivial Psychic these visions would have zero to do with the guy's daughter.
