Even if Tim or someone else says they think someone should be suspended, that doesn't mean the mods automatically suspend people. They will look into it and if the mods think the person deserves to be suspended they will be and if not they won't be. I don't think this one was even debatable, it was blatant.Yep, but that’s what happens when Tim begs the mods to suspend you I guess.A casualty in the waning days of the PSF. Good guy

True dat. Gordon Gekko tagged Joe Bryant, David Dobbs, (?) The FBG Moderator, and Sigmund Bloom (???) in a post asking for ownership to take action and permaban me because I was "bad for business" and was driving customers away from these forums.
Fortunately, or unfortunately (depending on your perspective) the mods did not act on his suggestion.

I think he meant Dodds in his post, his presence is sorely missed. I believe he was the only staff member to ever take a position opposite the majority here? One he was gone it was unfortunate for this place.

Dodds'* position was that there was a pedophile ring run by high ranking Democrats out of a DC pizza parlor. This claim has been sufficiently debunked. To put this into perspective, this wasn't somebody taking a legitimate minority position on an actual debatable issue (e.g. taking a pro-life stance on abortion, arguing against student loan forgiveness, etc.). Dodds' "position" was more akin to arguing 2 +2 = 5 and it indirectly arguably supported violence. In other words, "taking a position opposite the majority here" seems like an unreasonably favorable spin in this context.Agreed, he always can from a genuine place I believe.GG was just trying to help the powers that be. This forum will never change. Some people will behave better for a few days but it always reverts back to the same because at the end of the day, most of this forum doesn't want to discuss issues they want to push their moral beliefs on others and just argue. But he’s going to change I thought, this time for real?Awesome response. Sorry you are so judgmental of Dodds yet not self aware of the narratives push here by so many that are absurd. I won’t be searching anything for you, you and others are fully aware.
Honestly I think it’s a tough spot, initially the non Libs were alienated here and now if you take it away from Tim and those that support the liberal agenda you are alienating the largest part of your client base. I don’t think they can shut it down, do whatever Tim/Sho say is the play if you ask me. May I ask a question please?I reported Knowledge Dropper because what he wrote, comparing Biden’s comments about MAGA to Hitler’s treatment of Jews, to be terribly ugly and offensive.
I regret it a little bit now because in retrospect I think the proper response is not to respond at all. But I have no problem whatsoever with his suspension.

What drives a grown man to click the report button on a public message board full of adults?
Someone types something “terribly ugly and offensive” in your opinion. So after you read it you say to yourself “self, this adult male wrote something that I feel was ugly. By God ….I’m going to report him to the forum moderators!!!” ?
Is that how it goes?
Maybe your question should be what drives a grown man to post offensive vile things instead of about someone reporting said person.May I ask a question please?

Framed a little differently but yeah. The mods can make any final decision. They need help trying to keep the most corrosive vitriol out of the board, so yeah.May I ask a question please?I reported Knowledge Dropper because what he wrote, comparing Biden’s comments about MAGA to Hitler’s treatment of Jews, to be terribly ugly and offensive.

Strictly business, nothing personalEven if Tim or someone else says they think someone should be suspended, that doesn't mean the mods automatically suspend people.

* FWIW, I like Dodds. I always used his rankings and deferred to him on all things football. I even met him once and he was enjoyable to speak to. But his stance on Pizzagate was off the deep end.
Some posters assume you're a hard left liberal commie if you say something they don't like.Got any examples?I get this is y’all’s excuse but there were many more ridiculous claims in here with the liberal conspiracies. If that is held against posters this forum would be empty on your side from bannings. The reality of it is of staff that participated he was the only check/balance from full on liberal talking point echo chamber and him being gone however it was handled was unfortunate for FBG.Dodds'* position was that there was a pedophile ring run by high ranking Democrats out of a DC pizza parlor. ETA: I'm also unsure where the "your side" comment is coming from. I've been a registered Republican since I was old enough to register to vote. I genuinely don't view Dodds' claims to even fit into the political sphere of genuine debate.
I reported 1 post recently. It was directly threatening violence against certain people. Up until then, I have years and years of never reporting anyone, and I hope I can return to that.May I ask a question please?I reported Knowledge Dropper because what he wrote, comparing Biden’s comments about MAGA to Hitler’s treatment of Jews, to be terribly ugly and offensive.
