Otb was a great poster.  But, we have lost many great posters recently so I doubt he comes back.   This is still a good place but has gone downhill a ton in the last year.   Changing an adult forum full of adults into a children's place isn't going to end well.   This place will be almost empty and quiet in a few years.    Sad when a good thing goes away for no reason.

No. Not at all. Much love between us. Maybe a slight argument, only once. I think we had mad respect for one another. I miss him. Some other people feel the same, apparently.  I've taken out other threads asking him to come back, actually. We even set up a side site convincing him to come back. Neither has borne fruit. Great dude, never had an issue with him.

This. His 2nd favorite day of the year.

otb_lifer had been edited last year in his attempts to glorify the female form on these boards and believed he had an agreement in place as to the precise nature of displays. He felt he had kept his end of the bargain throughout so, when anything pulchritudinous was swept out of the FFA without warning or consensus, he saw a contract violated. That's why he left, that's why he ain't coming back.

A nice e-eulogy, but not true. The only time we got into it he was high on caffeine, and admitted so. Loved him. Miss him.

I don't know if he and I ever interacted, but I appreciated his posts. He really contributed to the culture of the board in a positive way and when the board policies drive a guy like that away it's a reflection of bad policy imo. I hope he comes back.

I don't know if they're bad policies, per se, as I don't want to bite the hand to feeds -- I just wish he was still around. I loved talking movies and shooting the #### about music with him. I also appreciated his fatherhood and devotion to others. 

Anyway, he knows how I feel.
