I missed Draft =(... (1 Viewer)

Well, I missed draft in one of my leagues. I was on vacation and didn't realize until too late that draft time was going to coincide with me being at Packers Family Night. To make a long and sad story short I got a great offense but got heavily shafted on defense.

You'll usually be better off in that forum but we'll leave it here for now.Your defense is fine but you probably don't need five defensive linemen, especially getting only 2x tackles for a sack. I suppose I'd cut Kampman, but you might look into moving Ogunleye or maybe KVB for a DB.

Can you start Schobel over Kampman and dump Kampman for D. Johnson? With your scoring I would always be starting LBs at a flex position ...

I know everyone is hyped up on Vanden Bosch, but he's the one I would trade/cut. His last half of last year was not near the first half. Offensive coordinators figured him out and seriously curtailed his numbers. This is the micro solution.

The real solution was already given that you should dump almost all you're lineman and pick up LB's. Even in deep leagues, guys like McCoy, Fincher, Holdman are still available and will probably outscore all the lineman you have by quite a bit, especially with sacks only worth two points.

I'm only guessing, but it looks like a yayhoo league since the lineman and linebackers are grouped together. Do a quick query of last year's scoring and see where the lineman ranked; I imagine they are way down the list. If this is the case, start dropping lineman now.
