I need a device (1 Viewer)

No, not that kind of device.  

I'm not even sure what it is called, frankly.  I want to have a setup where I can push something like one of those red "easy" buttons and doing so will (1) turn on a lamp, and (2) play a sound. I know that the "easy" buttons are not functional, but I do not care what the button actually looks like.  I just need something that I can easily press in the spur of the moment.  The lamp will have a standard ac/dc plug.  The sounds will vary.  I have about 30 on my computer that I'd like to be able to choose from, so I guess I would queue up the specific sound on my laptop and connect that to the button?  This seems like it should be pretty easy for somebody who knows what they are doing, which I obviously do not.  Any suggestions?  Can anybody at least tell me the name of the type of device I'm looking for, if there is a name?

I have my lamp connected to a remote control. There are three on/off buttons on the remote. They cost like $20 and you get them near the xmas lights.
