I have been offered Jake Peavy and Pat Burrell for Carlos Lee.
Here is my current team in a 10 team league
c Ramon Hernandez (Wieters)
1b Prince Fielder (Butler)
2b Brandon Phillips
3b Encarcion (AROD)
ss Jimmy Rollins
OF Carlos Lee (Damon)
OF Carl Crawford
OF Nate Mclouth
UT Carlos Pena
SP Carlos Zambrano (Baker, Carmona, Cook, Kawakemi, Duke)
SP Dice K
SP Erik Bedard
SP Chris Young
RP Brian Fuentes
This team has started out 0-4, and I am already behind by alot this week so its looking like an 0-5 start. The good thing is that its a total points league. Would you make this deal? Im thinking it solidfys my pitching (especially if Peavy gets traded), and then while I lose hitting points, Arod coming back will help me, and Johnny Damon/Burrell platoon isnt too bad.

He has 40 strikeouts in 39+ innings this year.Last year his k rate/ip was higher than Johan Santana's.For his career his K rate in 1 per inning. I'm not sure how you can say his k rate isn't high enough, it's elite.I can get onboard with not wanting to trade offense for pitching. But Carlos Lee is not an elite fantasy commodity. He's a nice outfielder who should get you 30 or so home runs, 100 rbi's, 85 or so runs, but he's getting older, doesn't run much any more, I think I'd rather have Peavy than Lee straight up.Oh, and no way when Carlos is on his game is he a top 5 outfielder, no effing way. Dude's hit more than 35 home runs exactly once in his career (37), plays on a poor offensive team, that's just crazy talk. Maybe top 15 outfielder for the year, maybe. Peavy pitching at Petco is a nice option to have.
