So I'm sitting there watching ESPN over Memorial Day weekend and in the other room my 11 year old boy started singing "I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world .... life is fantastic, in plastic..." I yelled at him to stop immediately and he said "geez dad grandma is just putting out old Barbie napkins for dinner because she doesn't have any Memorial Day ones".

Was yelling at him, sight unseen, appropriate or should I have been more accepting or his choice of song?

It was on regular TV, I just thought it was a guy with a cool sword
