I swear I saw Hixon make two tackles (1 Viewer)

But in the NFL.com Gamebook it says he had one and Toomer had one.

Can someone who Tivo'd the game please take a quick look for me and let me know?

If I end up losing the dynasty semi because of that I'll go schitzo!

Also, is there any chance they might change it later in the week if it's wrong?

We had a similar situation in the bowl game last year and one team ended up losing by around .40 because of it.

Not one person Tivo'd it? Dang. I might just write to Elias Sports Bureau anyway - anyone got a contact address?

They seem to have hidden it from whiners like me.

Sorry.

I was too busy swearing up a storm and throwing my beer at the TV at those specific times to catch jersey numbers on those tackles.

At what time of the game does gamebook have the int and Toomer tackle? I'll watch it on my nfl rewind & let you know.

That'd be awesome if they did change it. I have Hixon and lost by 1 stinking point so that one extra tackle could get me into the championship game. Of course, what are the odds they'd actually go back and review that and change it all within the week?

I looked at the play by play and the int int/tackle in question was at 18 sec left in the 4th. Unfotunatly nfl rewind is locked during games so i cant look till mon night football is over. If nobody has the answer for you by then, I will.

Thanks mate. I am 100% DEFINITELY SURE that Hixon made the first tackle; it's only the second (game-ending) interception that they didn't show on SportsCenter etc.

If that's the case mate, you need to jump on this wagon with me and try get them to change it before it's too late.I still can't find a contact for Elias Stats Bureau. I'll PM Dodds to see if he knows.I'm not going to miss my first ever Bowl game in this league over an incorrect stat!

I watched the two plays in question and on both int's HIXON made the tackle. There were no other Giants anywhere near the plays.

The first is at 12:19 of the 3 qtr

The second at :18 of the 4th

Hope this helps

I just found out about NFL.com's game rewind 1 week ago. For $20 a year, you can watch HD streaming of all the games after they have been played. They are also commercial free. The games are available to watch at midnight est after they are played. I love it

Thanks heaps for that mate. I'm in Australia so not sure about the HD thing - I think we can pay about $250 - $300 and get some sort of version of NFL Network for the year that does the same but with live game streams as well. Only found out about that last week, so will be doing it next year for sure.

This is part of what I don't like about fantasy football sometimes. So, your league gives you credit when WR's make tackles? I think it's silly. Did you factor this into your draft strategy when choosing your RB's, WR's and TE's?

Yup this was updated for our league today too (MFL), Hixon credited with 2 tackles.

With that said, seems silly to award points for this.

You're welcome my friend. A couple people have posted and said there was a stat change. I hope this gets you to the big game.

That's why we didn't invite you to our league. Things happen out of the ordinary, we like to reflect them. I'm sure your Yahoo basic league is fun too though!

It's odd, that's all. Just stating an opinion. You have to admit it's an odd way to win a game.Oh and ... the you must be in a"basic yahoo league" comeback. Weak dude. We all know this is "Serious Business". Enjoy your win after your WR was absolutely shut down, but he sure can tackle. You must be so proud.

Heck, you should write the NFL and let them know they shouldn't keep track of that meaningless stat.

Or...we could add it to :("I lost my game because my WR wasn't credited for making a tackle".
