I think I just Bought Front Row Jets Tickets (1 Viewer)

Okay so my Bengals are coming here to Jersey and after a couple debacles last year where friends said they would come through with tix and failed (thank God I didn't tell my nephew as he is both a huge Jets fan and coincidentally a huge Favre fan and would hate to crush him like that) I took matters into my own hand and went to the ticket master website.

Frankly I'm surprised at how readily available single-game tickets for the Jets were.

What I got was Section 107 (basically on the sideline by the endzone) row Y - which seems from everything I can figure out is the front row.

Is this correct? Did I really get tickets that might put me up close with an Ocho touchdown celebration? I paid a premium by ticketmaster standards ($150 each for 2) but if they are where I think they are I think it's worth it as I never get to see my team.

How did I do?

I think it because it is against the Bengals.
Well, actually there were seats for all games available, and yeah yeah I know the whole deal with my team :unsure:I'm just curious if these seats are right there in front. I know the angle from the corner will be a bit harsh to the other side but I'd be very happy if I can take my nephew to see the game and it be that close to the action. Is Row Y the front row in section 107?Btw on a total aside I forgot that's the Hoffa section (supposedly) which would be kinda a cool place to be for the last game ever at the Stadium.-QG

If your seats are on the sideline, this is probably in the overhang row directly on the field.

I thinks theres 2-3 rows, before "row 1" above the turf.

I think your first or second row. I know the first row between the 40's is marked Z. I've gone to couple of games and sat there. Its unbelievable. The sideline camera dolly that is about 15 high has a 20 iinch tv mounted to it so you can watch the game when he is right in front of you.

Cool, thanks guys! Just wanted to make sure there wasn't like a statue of Hoffa directly in front of the seats or something else like that. Shocked that I could get front row Jets tix for face value. If you go to Ticketscal...er Ticketmaster there's single game seats for all the Jets game this year. Very surprising.

That's because guys like me gave up their season tickets. I waited 15 years to get them, and then they said I can't have tickets without paying at least 5k in PSLs. I decided against even buying them this year, too. As a grad school student, there are other things I need to worry about. $50 for Supercast online will suit me fine :goodposting: Also, you'll have fun there and those seats are great - make sure to tailgate, always fun in the Meadowlands parking lot :goodposting:

The dolly slides side to side and is rarely in the way.

Jets v. Bengals? You could have gotten good tix in the lot before the game for cheap - I usually end up selling any unexpected extras I have in the lot and can barely get $20 for a lower level ticket against teams like the Bungles. Only tough ticket is Pasties and Dolphonies.

Yeah but wandering around the parking lot trying to scalp with my nephew wasn't appealing. Plus if this ends up being a game for a playoff spot for either team (particularly the Jets) the demand would be up. What put me into the column for buying 'em was the fact that they were on the field which is a unique experience I wanted my nephew to have (as well as the fact that since it's ticketmaster I don't have to worry about any illegal shenanigans (only legal ones). If they are both 5-10 it'll totally feel overpriced for sure but I get the feeling there will be something on the line.By the way just for goofs I just looked on ticketmaster - you can get mezzanine tix to the Patriots and you can even 10 upper deck tickets in the same row if you want. (If you wanna sit by yourself you can get a row Z seat at the 20 yard line as well :lmao: )For the Dolphins you can get two tickets together one row behind the seats that I bought. You can get 10 together in the mezzanine endzone.I mean that's pretty amazing given how tough they've been to get traditionally (and yeah the PSL thing clear is a big reason behind it). NFL is gonna have a lotta lotta blackouts this year. While not here in NJ, I'm sure it'll be the case as things are tough all over.-QG

Got it!

Did you look at stubhub? I generally get my tickets there rather than at ticketmaster. They're usually cheaper and there isn't the additional ridiculous fees (there IS a handling fee, though).

I did - didn't seem to have something at that price range as good. Looking at it closer most were in the 300-450 per ticket range on there. There was a Row Z seat in a similar section for 150 per which is basically what I paid (it was 311 after ticketmaster ridiculousness fees)Anyhow, what's done is done :) I know I'll be happy when I'm there at the game regardless :)For those that are able to, it's definitely a buyers market for sure.-QG

I was on the season ticket list for almost 8 years before I decided the drive to New Jersey Blows....Funny after all those years, now you can get tickets...And yeah, wait till next year with the new stadium, higher fees and a worse economy.
