In almost three seasons under Herman Edwards, the Chiefs are 15-30.

In the 17 seasons prior to his arrival, the Chiefs had won 161 regular season games, an average of 9.5 wins per season. 6-10 was their worst season in that span. In just three seasons in KC, Edwards already has two seasons worse than that (4-12 last year, and, at 2-11 currently, can finish no better than 5-11 this year).

Sorry, but I just find this hilarious. As a Broncos fan, it always makes me happy to see the Chiefs lose, but to see them do it with a mediocre coach like Edwards is even better.

Please, Herman, keep, "playing to win the game!"

Yet another defensive minded head coach with a horrible defense. You can't really blame Herm for the offensive line getting old and needing rebuilding or the QB problems, but the defense is ridiculous.

I think I've been the biggest Edwards defender on the board but this is a very good post. While part of Edwards defensive rebuilding project was badly undermined by the way Peterson handled the Jared Allen situation, you still can't give Edwards a pass for how poorly that KC defensive unit has played this season. They are tied for the second worst defense in the league with the broncos. And that broncos defense is a complete train wreck.
