I was bored at work today... (1 Viewer)

I went through as the Lions and picked a player who went at that spot or as a lower draft pick. I made it so I couldn't skip any picks.

I'd thought I'd share it. It took a while, but I actually had a blast doing it! I'm curious to see what I could have done better.

"as I was lying in a puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much...."

Interesting work.

You should travel back in time, gain influence with the Lions front office, and draft for them.
Wouldn't help. Somehow all of their 1st and 2nd round skills players would get hurt, their OL and DL would under-perform and they would lose all their high profile players to free-agency.

This is a fun post, and makes me think what my bears could have done differently. Got to love these what if type of drafts.

I did this for my Chargers once to see what I could have done differently to improve their 1998 draft.

1) Colts - Peyton Manning, QB

2) Chargers - ANYBODY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD BESIDES RYAN LEAF

3) Cardinals.....

I don't understand this or there is a mistake. Shane Lechler was drafted before Tom Brady.Either wait to draft Tom Brady cause he wouldnt have been chosen before the 6th round, or you take him as your first pick cause he is certainly more valuable than Chad Clifton.

He cheated because for some reason he wanted both Brady & ©lifton. In a real "do over", of course there is no way in hell Brady lasts even to pick 1-20, much less 2-50. Which is the main reason I didn't find this thread particularly interesting.

Yeah, there were a lot of cases where it didn't matter which order I selected players because the player would have been there later. So, it really wouldn't have mattered if I selected Brady before Lechler for visa versa.

Ok, you don't have to find this interesting, but this was just me having fun, so there's no way to cheat. And this wasn't about every GM going back in time and re-drafting -- it was I go back in time, become the lion's GM, and draft a f*ing awesome team. This isn't supposed to be realistic.
