The 80s weren't much better. When I was in High School ('87-'91) the fashion of the day was not-so-tight jeans and friggin sweatshirts. In 2014? Yoga pants, thong (or no) underwear, tight shirts, cleavage...

Born in '68. Was in HS and college in the 80s. Great time from what I can remember. Reagan righted the ship and people were in a good mood. The metal scene was great. Endless supply of bands, coke and metal chicks in tiny skirts. Life was great.

The girls are hotter now though. God bless yoga pants.

Well my high school was pretty good. Lycra pants were all the rage and they left nothing to the imagination. If they weren't wearing those they had painted on jeans to wear. I came in after the hippy high water mark. Girls were into showing off a bit again.

Another 77'er here.

I enjoyed being able to ride my bike without a helmet, being able to leave the front door unlocked without fearing death and having free reign throughout the neighborhood as a kid in grade school.

Then in HS, sports were fun, music was great, girls were cute and life was really easy (except for girls...they were complicated).

College was great with more music, good beer and hot girls.

I got a good job right out of college during the hiring boom of the early 2000's, had nothing in the market yet for the tech bubble burst, bought a house before the housing bubble got too big so I was never upside down and now am a professional with over a decade of experience in a slowly growing economy.

Things have been timed pretty well, IMO.
