I will answer your WDIS start questions in Week 1 here... (1 Viewer)

No PPR 3rd WR: D-Jax or Colston

PPR RB2: Ingram, S-Jax, Hill
Desean (I think they'll want to air it out to their offseason acquisition in week 1) and S-Jax (I hate him, but if you are going to start him, the beginning of the season is when to do it... I think he could find paydirt week 1)...

OAN, I like Hill, but he is too risky as we really won't know his role for a few weeks.

May have a chance to draft 1 of these 3 RBs in a standard keeper: Martin-Stacy-Morris

Need a 3rd WR ((Wallace, Sanders, ?????)

Kenny Britt

James Jones

Jordan Matthews
Love Sanders, I'd start him over Wallace blindly.

Your 3rd is tough, although I like what I've seen out of Carr this preseason so I'd roll the dice on James Jones. Once Maclin inevitably gets hurt, big bump for Matthews.

Mr. FC42 - Thoughts on starting Lacy and Jordy Nelson at Seattle, will this be a disaster or could this be a shootout? Start Moreno (mmm maybe not) or VJax (maybe) instead, or let `em roll? - Thanks as always for your contributions. - SID

For the first 3 maybe 4 games of the season, as long as these two play, you start them and don't consider anything else. If they look absolutely awful (which I doubt) for those first few games, you can reevaluate at that point. Both of these guys should be top 10 at their positions assuming they play 14 games or more. There will obviously be weeks when VJax outscores Jordy and Moreno outscores Lacy, but playing the guessing game and starting lesser talents in lower caliber offenses over your studs is no way to enjoy your fantasy season.

Bush or Bell at RB vs NYG?

TIA
I like Bell to outscore Bush this season in all formats, not just standard... Bush is a wild card bc he only needs one play, but I predict Bell will be inside the top 5 for RBs in TDs this season. I think Bell will out touch Bush 3 or 4-1 inside the 5. On a week to week basis I start Bell over Bush. Consensus will sway this way by week 4 or 5.

Looks like I'm pretty set for W1 in most of my leagues. Biggest questions are Percy vs. Roddy in nonPPR and Wilson vs. Cam.

CJ Spiller (@ CHI), Joique Bell (vs NYG), or Emmanuel Sanders (vs IND) as flex in non-ppr league?
I love both of these guys and as a flex you can't go wrong this season with either (assuming no injury)...

For week 1 I play it safe with Bell although I think Sanders has the higher ceiling this week. The Welker situation is still sketchy and we don't know how they will use Sanders, although I suspect he will be used heavily in a versatile role outside and sometimes in the slot. Him and Decker are obviously very different and I expect a lot of Red Zone looks that went to Decker to go to J/D Thomas or even Lattimer/Caldwell.

Who should I look at first nude?

Kate Upton

Selena Gomez

Jennifer Lawrence

I'll hang up and listen coach

Roddy/Wilson... Although I'd be tempted to put Percy in solely for the fact the he plays Thursday. With the second highest O/U of the week, you want Roddy active in that one. With Julio grabbing the attention again, I like Roddy to shine.

I think Wilson was one of the best value picks at QB this year, guy is a baller. Who is Cam throwing to? Benjamin/Olsen? Until he shows their offense can be adequate this season, I'm not a fan.

I left uninspired by Kate... JLaw looks like a good time and the imagination runs wild on that one. Go with her first.

Kaepernick vs Dallas in a heavenly matchup or Rodgers vs. Seattle in a less than ideal match up??

Al Gore at Dallas or Lawrence Bell vs. the Browns

It is NOT a league where you get a point for catching the "rock".

I think the Seattle game is going to be a (relative) shootout, and the weather is going to be great for football. Both teams reach at least 20 points imo.

The stadium is going to be about as loud as it's ever been though, so..

Vincent Jackson against Carolina or Eric Decker against Oakland?
McCown intrigues me... I like Vjax here

PPR:

Gerhart or Gore
Gerhart... I'm very skeptical of the 49ers offense this year.

Pierce vs CIN or PTCruiser vs ATL
Pierce... He has two games to prove himself and I think he is a good fit for Kub's system. We really don't know how NO's touches will be spread out, so that assumes a lot of risk. Pierce is much safer here IMO

Same response to the Jordy/Lacy question above... Start Rodgers. Until Kaep shows he can outperform Rodgers on a weekly basis (which I doubt), you stick with Rodgers regardless of all factors.

I'm actually hoping to be wrong on Kaep/Gore, but I'm just not enthusiastic about their offense this season.

Clinton not available on waivers?

ppr pick 1

If Gronk doesn't play, should I go with Tim Wright? I have Gronk and Wright as my backup. Any other sleeper tight ends to target over Wright?

They play different positions... With no Gronk, Michael Hoomanawanui klajdnejkwndljewjdnew will be playing inline ("Y" tight end) and taking Gronk's snaps, at least we should assume this. A lot of praise coming out of NE this week about Wright's quick progress. He is replacing the Hernandez role ("move" tight end or "F"), splitting out, shifting/motion/etc..

With the Patriots, we just don't know. Sure Wright has a lot of potential and he is almost exclusively a pass catching TE, but how the Pats deploy him and how many opportunities he gets remains largely unknown in week 1 (with or without Gronk).

In 10 team leagues, a lot of guys fell or even went undrafted who could fill in for a week or two... Hopefully when taking Gronk you also picked up a guy like Ertz or Heath Miller who fell, but could be adequate in a Gronk pinch.

Would you drop Aaron Dobson to pick up this Latimore guy in Denver?

I know it's not a WDIS but hope to get your opinion.

Can only start 3 of these guys at RB/FLEX

McCoy

Peterson

Forte

Charles

...and no it's not a 2 team league, long term 16 team Dynasty

I think I would target Caldwell over Latimer.

Caldwell will prob get more looks outside the red zone. He has been ahead of Latimer all preseason on the depth chart and played well enough in Welker's absence last year.

All news indicates Latimer may get some plays in the red zone, but he is competing for TDs against J/D Thomas, so even if he is in packages, how many TDs is stealing from those guys?

You can flip a coin on this one, I guess I'd lean Caldwell here.

Is this the organic grocers league? Throw a dart, mine lands on AP, but it doesn't matter.

If this isn't a shtick, I try to get maximum value for AP or Forte in a trade this year.

Pick 2 WR's to start and 2 players for my flex. PPR

Kenan Allen

Wayne

Fitz

Torrey smith

Shane Vereen

Deandre Hopkins

T. Austin

Trich

Mike Evans
