From guys about the ultimate way to say eff u to a corrupt league with a corrupt commissioner. The most obvious of course is win the playoffs, take the money (if he even will give it to you) and say adios. Just assuming the hypothetical guy loses in the playoffs though. All I've come up with is get with the guy playing in for the championship (that corrupt commissioner doesn't want to win) and funnel as many good players as I can about 30 minutes prior to kickoff via the waiver wire. Any other ideas?

Reggie: Jack?

Jack: What?

Reggie: Tell me a story.

Jack: #### you!

Reggie: Ooo that's one of my favorites.

I did this last year after watching two corrupt trades go threw my first year in a preexisting league. Two guys obviously paid off the crappy teams and I screamed foul for the message boards. One by one I dropped Mike Williams, Mike Wallace, Ryan Mathews and John Stewart for my buddy and he beat one cheater in the 1st round and the other for the championship. In all fairness we have two day waivers so it was all game. My buddy won, offered me a slice of his winnings,I rejected the money and this year I enforced a week 8 trade deadline. I didn't care because I was out the playoff hunt but if I wasn't the commish would have gave me my cash back.

The best part is no1 ever figured out why a 7-6 playoff team won it all or that I had 4 empty roster spots lol.

I'd just leave it at something like this:

Dear League Members,

I want to let you all know that I will not be returning next year. It's time for me to move on and do other things. I've enjoyed getting to know many of you, and competing with you.

Best of luck,

xxxx

Take the high road my friend. Your integrity and character matter more than any short-term gratification you might feel from somehow sticking it to the commish. If he's truly a scumbag, other owners know it. Just exit with dignity and don't look back.

That's not the problem, the problem is being cheated out of money. Why I don't do money leagues, even when I'm commish, trust myself but don't want problems from others over trivial things.

Nice. I might save this in Microsoft WORD

I didn't leave the league immediately, but when I showed up at the commish's house the next season for the draft, I wasn't in the room when the draft was supposed to start. I was picking in the twelve-hole, so they did the first 11 picks, then they had to go and find me.

Commish found me giving it to his wife in the five-hole, in his garage on the hood of his car.

THEN I announced I was leaving the league.

So, who did you take with your first pick?

I assume that is a hockey reference unless, of course, you mean her left nostril.

Yep, you never know when you'll see one of these guys in the future.
