P. Buchanon? Wow...he has been a monster in some games. I believe he scored +70 points in 3 or 4 games in my league over the last 2 seasons. I know he is inconsistant but if you can afford to keep him, I would stash him away and play him in games when you need to score many points.

Vanden Bosch is injury prone, and while he may help TEN - he's not good enough in my opinion to beat double-teams regularly. They are supposedly counting on him to do that, from some things I've read.Adams & Mitchell have some opporunities right now, I wouldn't cut either at this moment.

Vanden BoschL MitchellWallaceMcCunePierceMillerColcloughI'd personally keep K Mitchell and Adams. As of today, they are starters (even though Simoneau could re-claim his WLB gig). The four LB's listed above are not (and will not be) consistent starters in '05. Laugh as you may, but I actually look for a big season out of K Mitchell. After stepping into the starting lineup, he was top-shelf the second-half of last year. Mitchell had 6+ tackles in eight of his last ten games in '04. Keep in mind...6 tackles tackles/game equates to a 100-tackle season.Even though I don't know you're league's scoring system, I'd still keep Dockett. He's a poor-man's Kevin Williams. This under-rated monster can stuff the run and rush the passer. Denny loves this former 3rd-round gem.

Keep an eye on McCune, KMitchell, Adams. May or may not be worth a roster space.

Eagles | Battle at Weakside Linebacker SpotSun, 3 Jul 2005 06:50:03 -0700

Kevin Noonan, of the News Journal, reports there is expected to be quite a battle in training camp between LB Keith Adams and LB Mark Simoneau to see who starts at weakside linebacker for the team. Simoneau is still recovering from offseason knee surgery. Currently Adams is listed No. 1 on the depth chart and even Simoneau acknowledges that Adams deserves that title. Simoneau isn't conceding the position to Adams just yet. Simoneau said his battle isn't going to be with Adams as much as with himself. "The competition is that you're trying to be the best you can be," he said. "In the end, you're not going to make the decision, you're just playing. You're out to sway the coaches' decision, and after that, you just play where they put you."
