IDP Protection Question (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
I can only protect 5 of these 6 LB's next season - I have included their points per game and ranking in brackets, using my leagues scoring system.

I am leaning towards trading London Fletcher, as he is on wrong side of 30, and will not produce the same totals with Spikes back in fold.

London Fletcher - 12.4 ppf (#2)

Jonathon Vilma - 11.9 ppg (#4)

Donnie Edwards - 11.8 ppg (#5)

Nick Barnett - 10.9 ppg (#9)

Lofa Tatupu - 10.2 ppg (#14)

Odell Thurman - 10.1 ppg (#16)

I am looking for a 4th or 5th rounder - 10 team league. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys - just dealt Fletcher for a 6th rounder. Has been a great player for me, but I had no choice.

Without knowing your starting requirements, if you only have to start 2 or 3 of these, I might be inclined to keep Fletcher and trade one of the younger guys to strengthen another position. You shouldn't need that much strength/depth sitting on your bench each week. If you can start 4 LBs, I agree with the others - cut/trade Fletcher.

I think I would have possibly tried to trade Edwards. I thought I read something a month or so ago that he was going to retire but decided to come back for one more year.

I agree Fletcher or Edwards was the way to go.

That was Randall Godfrey.
