I won't necessarily shill for our rankings and content, because I get that folks may not always have the :lmao: to put toward a fantasy football site. But you will get what you pay for when you use rankings from sources who don't have dedicated IDP staffs. Nearly every one of the "we do fantasy football on the side and IDP because we probably should" outlets pay no mind to scoring system, player movement or any number of other important factors, nor do they update their rankings frequently. Many services similar to the above had Cato June in the top ten last year and few had Patrick Willis or D.J. Williams anywhere near the top 20. Plenty of them had Shawne Merriman and Demarcus Ware high also, which, if you play in a scoring system that doesn't reward big plays highly, would hurt you as well.Good luck. Even should you choose not to purchase a FBG subscription, the forums, including our IDP Assistant Coach forum, are free year round.

:lmao: There is a lot you get with a paid subscription in addition to the rankings. The MyFBG feature is pure gold, the draft dominator, the $35,000 subscriber contest, weekly rankings updated Wed-Sat and on and on and on. Well worth it.Oh yeah, the preseason rankings are updated often too. They are not just rank 'em now and forget 'em. They are constantly updated.

A subscription to FBG's will be the best $ ever spent on FF, no matter what content you are looking for. If it has to do with FF, you'll find it here. And it will all be up to date and factual. FBG's is the bomb. :( :goodposting:

Thanks guys. I've been listening to the podcast for, i believe, going on my third year. second or third anyway, i tend to lose track of time. I like the podcast enough that when, on another forum i use someone was asking for other podcasts to listen to i recommended yours.

I've been considering subscribing to your site for a while. when i first got into fantasy football in 2000 i started a subscription to The Sporting News fantasy source. after last season i told them to stop auto-renewing my subscription because all of their good writers had left. as an example of just how bad they've become, they have Reggie Williams ranked #10 in their WR rankings.

does this site have a way to input your roster so that you get breaking news on the players on your team? that is just about the only thing i liked on the Sporting News site, but even then i was usually able to find out info sooner than they posted using my own resources.

Do you offer mobile alerts? is there any sort of a free trial period that would let me check out the site before subscribing?

We do not offer mobile alerts. Joe Bryant does include high profile IDPs when he sends out additional breaking news updates as they happen. Those are free currently, but fold into the subscriber package after the season begins. It would require an extra step, but those emails could be forwarded to a mobile device. Our MyFBG function allows you to track as many players as you like, with all news from our blogger, weekly articles, projections and matchup analysis (mostly offensive players) on one page. The MyFBG function also allows you to enter the scoring system of as many leagues as you like. For each league profile, you can...**Create customized draft list (preseason)**View preseason projections (by position)**View preseason projections (by team)**View stats for the current year and every year back to 2002 (for IDPs)**Weekly in-season cheatsheet based on our weekly projections**Custom Top 200 forward lists**Custom Forward SOS**Fantasy points allowed to each position by team fully searchable by week(s)That's just one function. You may have seen the content we've been rolling out through the summer in the call out thread on the first page of this forum. We've still got multiple pieces of content planned. In the next month, we'll be releasing the rest of Norton's Eyes of the Guru review, full IDP coverage in our huge weekly training camp reports, a monster review of defensive schemes, a review of how the NFL records unofficial defensive statistics, eight more face-offs, six more spotlights, a huge IDP value plays article among other strategy and review content pieces before Week 1. Inseason, we have an IDP specific matchup analyzer, searchable by week and position, to help with lineup decisions. We have seven separate pieces of IDP content during the season, including waiver wire and matchup analysis and multiple news review and analysis articles. That goes with our weekly projections and customizable cheatsheets. And the free weekly podcasts and forums you already know about. That's just the IDP coverage. There's more offensive content published than what we do on the IDP side.Unfortunately, there isn't a separate trial period. However, there's a money back guarantee. Joe and David will refund your money, no questions asked, if you are unsatisfied with your subscription. If I wasn't shilling before, you can consider this the full sales pitch. :lmao:

ok, i'm sold. After all, it was the IDP analysis on this site that allowed me to sit back and wait on drafting my first IDP while the rest of me league went on a run. i ended up drafting Kirk Morrison, Barrett Ruud, Rocky McIntosh, and Michael Boley in the last few rounds. we only start two IDPs and they can be ANY position. we dumped the kicker position a few years ago and added the IDPs and have never looked back.

:lmao: No kickers? I'm in one league with punters too. :wall:

Hey Taz. Next year they should add cheerleaders to the league. :lmao:

i look at it like this. would i rather be cheering for a Stephen Gostkowski to make a 50 yard field goal, or cheering for Osi Umenyiora to sack McNabb 6 times in a game (i think he just beat Winston Justice again).
