IDP Redraft Polls (1 Viewer)

Debating whether and when to put together a Perfect Draft feature that includes IDP strategy this year. Trying to gauge interest and audience and a target release date. Thanks for your answers above and any discussions or suggestions you might have.

Suggestion: considering how long IDP drafts can be, I have to believe the majority of IDP draft are slow drafts. With that in mind, maybe you should include a draft starting date poll (for slow drafts) to get an idea of when most people start drafting.

I know I've gone a little bizzaro with the leagues, but fwiw, I answered yes to all of the first question options, and yes to each of the other three poll questions. I have already completed 10 IDP redrafts (or reauctions), all of them with a little money on the line, all of them live, and all found via Yahoo! or ESPN using LeagueSafe or having an established history of ethical payouts. I am signed on for another 15 before the opener. My auction last night ran five hours and simple endurance gave me a nice advantage in the end as many bailed and relied on their rankings and queue. So my answer to Jene from all my leaguemates is: We are out here. We might be listening. My personal answer is: Go away. I have a nice advantage by being tuned in here and if word gets out your seriously supporting IDP redrafts God only knows what I'll have to do next. Heavy offensive line scoring leagues only?

Since you mentioned expanded line-ups, I just have to bring up again that I wish the Draft Dominator would allow these designations. The rankings have them, it would be nice if the DD did as well. I know this probably isn't the place, but I don't post much here any more and thought I would mention it since it came to mind...

Honestly, I think if you just go ahead with whatever IDP related content you might conceive then people will casually check it out and it will generate interest on its own merit. Personally, defense and defenders are more interesting for me to learn about than the O because it just seems there's more required specificity and required cohesion within a scheme to make defenses work and consequently productive IDPs. The more content generated the more people will see it and more people will step into the light play the game the funnest possible way with IDPs. I play in a league where you start either 4 or 5 IDPs and DBs subtract 1/3 opposing WR pts and DLs subtract 1/3 opposing RB pts. The format is loosely based on the old Yahoo Sandbox and Full Contact Leagues. MFL league 41089 for example. Keep up the fantastic work!

I kind of agree with this understanding it is somewhat tonge-in-cheek.IDP is the last bastion of inefficient markets. Perfect Draft articles will be followed by more leagues adopting IDP will be followed by IDP AutoPick will be followed by no more strategic advantage. You can't stop progress. The information is all there in the podcasts, tier-based strategy articles, IDP forum and RTD articles. The thing that currently makes IDP a fun challenge is sifting through it all and collating it on your own to find the diamonds in the rough (like Timmons, Derrick Johnson and P.Chung in 2010). This allows for real drafting strategery.From a business perspective, I'm sure many people understandably may want a turn-key solution. It's all good. The sky won't fall.
