IDP Roundtable (1 Viewer)

Yes, we recorded last night. I'll post the link as soon as Cecil has it ready.
Thanks, Jene, you guys are the best! I'm in the championship game and I'm really outclassed in the WR/RB positions but I have collected a ridiculous roster of IDPs and that's where I need to make up my points.I need 4 sure bets from the following list:Pat Angerer George Wilson Roman Harper James Anderson D.J. Williams Desmond Bishop Lawrence TimmonsJerod Mayo (waivers)J Harrison (waivers)Colin McCarthy (waivers)1/0.25 point for tackles, 3 for sack/FF/FR/Int, 1 for PD.

Heavy on matchup and fluke v trend discussion again this week. Also discussion on whether you can trust Jared Allen, Sean Lee, Sean Weatherspoon, Jason McCourty after last week's struggles.

Enjoy listening to these every week. But I did here and see something this week that makes 0 sense - John's startem sitem on 2 guys compared to his projections. You said sit Jabaal Sheard and Will Smith and gave your reasoning. How can you say that and give them the stat projections you did? It doesn't make sense to me.

btw, Sheard had a huge game against Baltimore 3 weeks ago.

I have both guys projected between 8 and 9 points. Not exactly high I think... Sheard did have a big game in the last meeting. That was at Cleveland. The Ravens are a different team at home and they have allowed just 4 sacks to defensive ends over the past 8 games. Sheard could have a decent game when it comes to tackles but I don't see a repeat of the last meeting. Smith is the Saints best pass rusher and has the potential to break out on any given week. I think the odds are pretty heavily against him having a real big game but I don't expect he will be held to a single assist this time.

Thanks John. Still, in my league scoring they are 14th and 18th which is starter territory and in my other league where I have neither, they are 8th and 9th.

I do make my own decisions and use FBG projections as a tiebreaker helper. Not sure if I will play Smith, but am Starting Sheard. Was really just curious.
