IDP Virgin -- help me please (1 Viewer)

My advice, esp. if you are an IDP virgin: keep going on the Off. side of the ball. DO NOT take an IDP before round 8-9 at least (esp. in a league that you only start 2DL-2LB-2DB). I would take a WR since you don't have a 4th rounder. You didn't list C.Johnson as being taken, so if he is still there you MUST take him. Otherwise it is personal preference between AJ and Walker, IMO.As for the the next few rounds, I would draft 2 more WRs, 1 QB, and 1RB- whatever position has the best player available when you pick. I assume that you have back-to-back picks the rest of the way. I would then start taking Off player/Def.player most of the rest of the way. The biggest mistake that I made my first few IDP drafts was taking the IDP players too early/too often. LBs are the most important, but you can easily find IDP starters in the later rounds, on the waiver wire, or through trades.

Trust me- take AJ. These guys are taking IDPs too early. No way should any be taken before round 5- period.Is there any RBs that really stick out that should've been taken by now? You could always trade later to somebody that missed out on the RBs.

so I took it and got SA, Ahman, Gonzo(3.03) and soon it will be 3.12(me) then 5.12 (me) --- don't know why the guy wanted 12&13 pick but he gave up a 3rd for a 4th ???

Weird. Won't let me look at the draft or rosters- that's a first. Another thing that I would suggest is setting an IDP 'goal' so you don't get too carried away on that side of the ball. I would say that 11-12 would be just about right for team with 28 players on a roster.. That would give you 3DL, 5LB, 3DB-- plenty.
