If Buckhalter starts (1 Viewer)

Assuming Westy doesn't dress, what kind of numbers can we expect from Buckhalter?

Some things to consider...

Buckhalter has a better ypc avg than Westy...4.8 ypc compared to 4.7 ypc. Smaller sample size and likely in garbage time, but still he has shown he can produce if needed.

Reid was very doubtful that Westy could play if he didn't practice at all this week and he has yet to do that.

If Buckhalter does get the start, he'll be playing against a tough Chicago def at Chicago.

Buckhalter has struggled with injuries in the past, but is now 100% healthy, so we may not have seen his best yet.

Those things considered, what does Buckhalter do this week if he does indeed get the start?

I'm going to predict 18 carries @ 4.6 ypc for 83 yds. 5 catches for 40 yds and 1 td. Good for about Rb11 this week.

I would take that!

Not sure how tough they are. They are 28th against the pass thus far but strong against the run. I know one big game against them. I don't see a lot of rushing yards out of him but come decent rec yards.

I say 40 and 40. I think if Westy is out you'll see a little more of Booker and Hunt mixed in

40yds rush 60rec like 8 catches...
Buckhaulter had a decent game against the giants last year when Westy was out, but I don't like the match up. I'd say 40 yards rushing and 3 or 4 receptions. Griese didn't need to dump it off to his backs last week to be successful I don't see why Mcnabb will.

+You don't see why McNabb will? Have you not watched McNabb his NFL career? For every 2 passes down field he throws 8 to the RB out of the backfield. He is who he is.

Anyone think Booker could put any meaningful stats up if Westy is out or will it be the CBuck show?

I doubt you would have liked the matchup last week either, but C Buck put up 83 yds rushing vs the Steelers. And caught a TD pass.

Looks very likely Westy is out this week. There's another thread on that subject matter.

I'm bumping to see what everyone thinks of C-Buck vs the Bears today.

I haven't seen as much of the Bears D as I'd like to make this call, but what I have seen so far looks pretty good. I don't see a big game from CBuck here. I'll put out my projections as:15/53/0 and 4/38/0 rush and recv.

The Eagles OLine is huge and pretty dominant. I don't care where the Bears run D is ranked. CBuck should go for 100 combined and a TD.

Booker will get some receptions too.

One of the probowl Guards is going to be out... but I think 120 combined and a TD is possible.

Max Jean (Andrews replacement) is even bigger than Andrews. Although not as talented, he's pretty good too.

Not as talented in pass protection perhaps but just as good of a road grader in my opinion.I think Buck will be good for 70/40/1. Booker hasn't done much with his chances unfortunately and is a bit of a liability in pass protection but I think this will be his opportunity to carry a bigger load. I expect him to see a number of passes out of the backfield however.
