The Yankees were down 4-2 entering the 9th inning and rallied to score twice in the bottom of the 9th to tie the score. Except they didn't finish the inning and the rains came.
As far as I know, baseball rules have it that if an inning is not completed it reverts back to the last completed inning.
However, I believe that there is also a rule that says a game can be suspended at a certain time (I think 1:00 or 2:00 AM) at which point it would pick up the next day at the point it was interrupted (2 outs in the bottom of the 9th).
Anyone watching this on tv? Does it appear that the rains might get the game called? Anyone know the ruling on this one should it get called?
