If True, Hass will be a Titan (1 Viewer)

If they're going after him with major money I can't see him being anywhere else. Guess Locker will get to learn on the bench.

If anyone throws big money at him he'll sign. He's near the end of the road and likely his last big contract...I like him but with his back/injury issues he's a risk to bank on. I think he can help the Titans and CJ but I'd imagine any "big" deal will be high salary/bonus short term (2 year deal).

What would be considered a "HUGE" contract for Hass? I'm all for the Titans bringing him on board, but at a huge price I think it's a mistake.

If true, Hass will be a Seahawk.

If true, Hass will be a Cardinal.

If true, Hass will be a 49er.

If true, Hass will be a Dolphin.

If true, this is why the Shark Pool sucks.

They should just keep Young. he's a winner, young and can be traded once he re-establishes value.
How do you expect him to restablish value when you are a headcase and have proven that you are attrocious? Last time I checked I am pretty sure they would have rather played Rusty Smith over him just saying...However giving Hass a big contract is so stupid. What is Hass at best anyways fringe top 20 qb now a days maybe a little higher???

Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times reports that Matt Hasselbeck will NOT be re-signing with the Hawks and that it appears that another QB has been signed by them.

Am I the only person who thinks this signing is just meh? I don't really think Hass has much left in him. I'm not sure this is going to help CJ.

What do we know about the offense that is going to be implemented in TEN? Do Hass and CJ fit it?

I agree and think most do. He's better than the other options but hardly a move that screams "championship".

I agree the championship is not this season, but think that Hass is more likely to take a role of a mentor for Locker than a bunch of the other options at QB. McNabb, maybe (we'll see with Ponder). Bulger? Pennington? Delhomme? Not hardly. The rest are too young to make the investment in Locker make sense. I don't know what the Locker needs specifically to learn but Hass has always had a good name in terms of preparation/study and has had several seasons where he's been very good. If he can get Locker to take up his good habits and explain the defenses, Locker has a good chance of developping in the right direction. And of course there is the FO connection.
