If you could change the outcome of one play, what would it be? (1 Viewer)

mitch richmond's ####### bank shot 3 pointer against Purdue in 1987 in the quarterfinals of the NCAA.

Easy. No intereception on the goal line like two months ago. If that DB doesn't make an amazing read and react perfectly, that is a TD all the way. I'd also accept changing it to a zone read to the left side and Wilson waltzing in untouched.

I'm not a Bills fan......but maybe Norwood's kick.....have him make it

those were some pretty darn good teams and quite a run they had during those years, it might have been cool to see them win one of those Super Bowls.....would have been great for the city and their fans......and while I don't know a ton about them their key guys seemed like pretty good eggs too.....Kelly, Thomas, Reed, etc....

RIcardo Lockette makes the catch* and scores the winning touchdown for the Seahawks, making them the first back-to-back Super Bowl winners in ten years.

* - I would easily settle for an incomplete pass, giving the Hawks the chance to run the proper play next - handoff to Lynch.

When I was 12.. Our little league team was in the playoffs, winner goes to championship game, loser get's to play for 3rd place..

We were down one run, bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, 2 outs and me, being the :censored: batter that I was, up to bat..

I checked my swing on the pitch, ended up bunting it in front of home plate.. The catcher picked it up and tagged home for the final out.. :bag:

Raheem Moore being out of position on Flacco's late game TD pass in playoffs a couple of years ago. That Bronco team was stacked and was Manning's best chance at a Bronco SB title. NE would have come into Denver for the AFFCCG, where they are beatable. And then, a beatable SF team in the SB.

My wife and I flew in for the game and froze our asses off in 2OT for that crap.

Or, on a more personal note, HS wrestling state championship tournament. My best friend got a concussion in the semi finals, but won his match anyways. He had to medical forfeit the state championship, but if he had gotten a chance to wrestle in it, he would have easily won. Our team came on second by 3.5 points.

I lost in the finals too, but there really wasn't a single spot in that match where I could have done something different to win...he was a better wrestler than me.

Had my buddy not gotten concussed, it would have been the only wrestling state championship our school ever had.

First offensive play for the Colts in Super Bowl XLI.

Peyton Manning gets stepped on by his center and breaks his ankle. Jim Sorgi has to come in and play.

Bears win.

Michael Jordan gets called for pushing off against Bryon Russell, no shot, Jazz wins the 1998 championship.

Not necessarily a play, but MLB decides not to go on strike in 1994 and the Expos go on to win the World Series and stay in Montreal.

funny how some people still blame Moore.....what about taking a knee with time left and 2 timeouts because you were in "shock"......isn't that why you pay Manning 20 mil a year......?.....do you think Elway would have taken a knee?......how about Manning throwing the pick in OT to set up the game winning FG....?....how about Von and Elvis getting zero pressure on the QB all game....yeah Moore got beat, but that's not what cost DEN the game...

Sorry, but this is a terrible post.

I wanted the Seahawks to win that game as well. But we have the power to change any play we want! Let's make things more interesting.

Let the interception stand.

The play we want to change is the final kneel-down by Tom Brady. Let's have him fumble on that play and have Michael Bennett recover the ball in the endzone for a touchdown with no time remaining. Seahawks win 30-28.

That would have been way more exciting than a touchdown to Lockette with 20 seconds left.

Dottie Hinson doesn't drop the ball when Kit runs her over and the Rockford Peaches win the Series! Why did she come back, to let someone else win?

Michael Bishop does not fumble after securing a first down up by 8 points with less than 2:30 to go in 1998 Big XII championship game. Kansas State goes on to play for, and I believe win, the national championship.

Still to this day makes me sick thinking about it.

Chicago ahead 3–0 and holding a 3 games to 2 lead in the best of seven series, several spectators attempted to catch a foul ball off the bat of Marlins' second baseman Luis Castillo. One of the fans, Steve Bartman, reached for the ball, deflecting it and disrupted a potential catch by Cubs outfielder Moisés Alou. If Alou had caught the ball it would have been the second out in the inning, and the Cubs would have been just four outs away from winning their first National League pennant since 1945. Instead, the Cubs ended up surrendering eight runs in the inning and shortly afterward lost the game, 8-3. When they were eliminated in the seventh game the next day, the "Steve Bartman incident" was seen as the "first domino" in the turning point of the series.[1]

Can the Cubs win the National League and then World Series ONCE in my lifetime?!?!?!!

Webber doesn't call timeout but instead launches a fade away jumper to win the 1993 NCAA Championship

Easy one, because so recent.

Salvador Perez takes Bumgarner deep in the World Series last year. My kids would have been able to see the Royals win a World Series. Would love to have shared that moment with them.

Any play that would have given the Yankees a win in the 2004 ALCS. The Red Sox douchery that we know today would have been erased from existence. The world would be a better place.

I was actually at that game. He travelled in the backcourt anyway, so that wasn't that big of a ripoff.

Jordy Nelson doesn't drop that 30-40 yard picture perfect pass from Rodgers week 15 of this past season. I win the magic football trophy and cash.
