If you could find out 2006 stats (1 Viewer)

Father of Two
I was thinking "Man, it'd be great to know how 'so-and-so' would do" and wondered who else people would choose to find out about.

My thinking is you'd want to find out the stats of some person who is currently a high risk/reward type. We are all pretty sure the Top Three will end up Top Ten, so I wouldn't choose them. But guys like Branch, Brooks, Lundy, J Lewis, Bledsoe, all represent, to me, players that one could really answer burning questions about.

So please give your picks, and please explain why. :)

Right now, I have a top five of QBs: Kitna, Brooks, Rivers, Simms, and FaVre that I'd love to know stats for beforehand.

Off that list I'll choose Simms because I think I have him on more teams than any of the others.

QBs? After Manning and Palmer, they're a dime a dozen.I'd like to know stats for several #2 WRs like Jennings, Burleson, Parker, Booker. Figuring out the #2 WRs that play like a #1 can be a key step toward a championship.

Too many to choose from fantasy wise (3 leagues with several multiple players chosen). So, I will go personal and say Favre. If I knew now, it would tell me several things - how did Driver and Jennings do, along with the team in general and what his "plans" are for the future. Ideally, I would say 3,500 yards, 25 TD's and 16 picks would mean a successful season for the team, him and the WR's. Unfortunately, I must live in reality and I don't think this is happening. (p.s. - don't use this as a bash Favre opportunity as I am sure Bears fans would wonder the same about Grossman).

Bush....So we can stop talking about it now.
Maybe it's just me (and I should use the search feature more), but it appears that the past 2 weeks have been dedicated to a full court press on Bell/Bell/Lundy/Morency/Dayne and the Bush front has been fairly quiet. I think serious fantasy owners (as those found here) have reached their own conclusions on what Bush will produce (and be) and have agreed to disagree on the wild swings in expected production.

Chester Taylor. He's in a great O, has a great OLine, and really no competition. I think he blows it up this year but I sure would like to know for sure.

QB - Daunte Culpepper

RB - Brian Westbrook

WR - T.O.

TE - KWII

K - Michael Koenen

Defense - Buccaneers

Full disclosure: I don't own any of these guys...yet.

:football:

In my draft this weekend, I had the second pick and had to choose between LJ and LT. I would have chosen LJ at that time.

That draft being over, I think knowing Mike Bell's stats would be the most important.

Who did you decide to go with? As for the original question. I would go with Matt Jones.

When did it become a great O? New coach, ancient QB, lost #1 WR who was a hack to begin with... How/when did it become great? That said I'd love to know CTs stats since I took him at the end of rd 2Great?

Marion Barber III - Definitely has the potential to be a top 10 RB for the time that he starts if JJones falters.

Edge. The potential range of his value is so wide and up in the air right now.
Did not think of Edge when I posted earlier. If he was still in Indy I think he'd be the clear cut #4 but now that he is Arizona, a ton of questions have appeared. It'd be great to see his final season stats.

Lee Evans.

Braylon Edwards.

Antonio Bryant.

Id like to see if these 3 guys take it to the next star level as I expect or if they remain decent and highly talented WR and nothing more.

I will break this down into 2 categories...

Number of games played

- Marc Bulger

- Kurt Warner

- Brian Westbrook

- DeShaun Foster

- Javon Walker

- Darrell Jackson

Final stats

- Peyton Manning

- Brett Favre

- Larry Johnson

- Mike Bell

- Reggie Wayne

- Michael Clayton

David Carr

I want to know how high our draft pick will be next year.

Serious answer = LJ

He's my top RB, as is he the top RB of lots of owners, and if he's going to go down with injury or disappoint I'd rather know and be able to deal him before he does so and ruins my overall team.

PORTIS & MANNING would be the 2 I'd like to know.

PORTIS because he's a home run or draft killer to anyone drafting in 4-12 slots right now.

MANNING because while I've never been one to draft a QB before round 5+ if he really could beat the field by 30+ fantasy points he justifies his early pick in late 1st or 2nd round.

R. Droughns would tell us a good deal of information - how the WRs (note: no apostrophe!) do, if Edwards is worth drafting, how often their D is on the field, etc.

Sorry to confuse you. I meant the WCO was a great O for a RB. Childress said he wanted to run the ball more and they used the RB's a lot in Philly. Brad Johnson is competent in running a WCO and with KRob out I would assume they run even more. Their OLine is great and that's half the battle.
